Vincent on the other hand refused to use crutches saying he didn’t want to look pitiful. His pride just wouldn’t allow him that and so told me to carry him to his car after the discharge.
I don’t know why he wasn’t embarrassed when I was carrying him out in bridal style because so many people were staring at us and the gazes were so intense I started feeling shy!
