Andrew was standing in front of his unfinished glass house in the middle of a mountainous land in the Rizal Area in a misty Sunday morning of May 8, 2030. He just turned 30. He had enough of almost everything a 30 year old man could have but there he was, standing cold while thinking how he should finish the house he was building for the last five years.

"Isn't it better if you just sell the place?"

Richard spoke.

"Why do I feel that you're giving up on something you haven’t started just yet?"

Andrew smiled weakly.

"I mean it had been five long years and I guess it's taking you so long to decide for its final look"

Andrew caressed his chin, smiled.

"I think I should get an architect. A new one..... and maybe, a new civil engineer too."

Richard took a gulp of his own saliva, shivered while looking at Andrew with eyes almost popping out.

"Hey Jonathan don't you ever think of doing that! Don't you ever-"

"Think of calling Sunny?"

Andrew got his name Jonathan stamped forever in his presence because of his hit popular teenage series during his 20s. Since then, he became more familiar with Jonathan as his name.

"I know this may sound hurtful…but I guess…” Richard clears his throat before continuing.

" you have to stop remembering her”

Andrew turned to him, focused.

"Then.... at least stop calling me Jonathan"

Richard snapped out of what he had been calling Andrew since their younger years.

"hmm right.... Andrew"

The next morning, Andrew woke up with a headache. He stayed the night in his unfinished house with liquors he brought with him and memories he wanted so badly to forget. He could barely move comfortably around the kitchen- the only finished part of the house. He lay on his back on top of cold- tiled floors, drunk.

He checked on his watch and again, it was 9 am. He thought he'd be doing nothing for the day so he submerged his head back into the huge sofa pillow he managed to take into the kitchen last night, with its pillowcase smelling like trash.

In the middle of his insanity, someone called. The very next minutes after the call, Andrew was hurrying to fix himself up and went to drive. He wasn't sober yet. He couldn't even remember when was the last time he sobered himself after his night-time alcohol meditation.

He arrived in the building he once became a very resident visitor in. He patted his t-shirt and regained some of his formal self. The man who called him was looking out the city view through the glass wall of the office while he was waiting for Andrew. When he arrived, the rest of the memories came rushing back in Andrew's head.

There was a long silence when Andrew came into the room. Looking into each other's eyes, the man opened the conversation.

"How have you been, Jonathan?"

Another pain has struck Andrew's heart when he heard the name Jonathan, once again.

"Honestly, Sir, I don't know how to answer the question."

"Please take a seat."

The man took a huge sigh as if it was too hard to continue the conversation.

"Sunny.... she woke up this morning..."

Andrew was stunned. He gathered himself, cleared his throat.

"If that's okay-"

"You know it's true that even celebrities like you cannot do something if your hands are tied by the law."

He cut him before he could finish his words and poured Andrew a brandy.

"But Andrew...."

Andrew thought the real conversation was already starting. His real name was the cue.

"I believe...it wasn't your intention to hurt my daughter. That is why it's called an accident. And you know ... from my perspective, as a grown man, you have the right to see my daughter after five long years."

"Sir..."

The man cut off Andrew.

"The thing is... she doesn't remember you."

Andrew was startled.

"W-what do you mean she doesn't remember me?"

"She couldn't remember anything that happened five years ago, Andrew. She woke up today but only remembered her basic memories."

Although he was trying to stay composed, Andrew had a hard time processing what was being said. It was a hard pill to swallow.

"She has forgotten everything about being a celebrity. When asked, she even told me she can only remember numbers. Math.  That she's a Civil Engineer."

Andrew almost broke down.

Andrew brought home another set of alcohol in his lonely home. He managed to take a seat on his high stool in the kitchen counter to start another alcoholic night alone, when his wallet fell to the floor. As he was about to pick it up, he was afraid another memory will come back. After minutes, when he pulled out an ID card, the memories came back like a spontaneous surprise party.

Andrew went back to the happiest moment of his life.
