Sally's POVRyan sketched out what he envisioned on B5-sized sketch paper. To use a cliché, he drew a large, menacing wolf on all fours standing before a helpless girl, who he depicted as looking scared. I admit he's not bad at drawing.Funny enough, though, I had the same idea, except the wolf looked like he was protecting the girl from all the world's harm. The wolf in my vision had a gentle look in its eyes as if it was trying to tell her that it would always be there for her and that the wolf belonged to her.I took out the set of pencils, charcoal, crayons, and the A1 canvas I just bought. I took a deep breath before starting, it was lunch and I guess I better get started. I let my hands do the magic. I looked like a mess, my hands and cheeks covered in charcoal stains.I painted the long grass at the bottom of the picture, I combined white, gray, and charcoal, a little blue in the eyes. I'm really satisfied with the result. I took a photo of it while I was there. I packed my thi
Sally's POVI saw his face turn red with embarrassment. Oh. The evil Alpha is blushing, so cute.Oh my God! What the hell did I just say?I frowned at my thoughts, sighing. "Okay let's go."I turned to the girl. “Athena, see you later.”She nodded and we headed to the Arts building. Ryan and I went straight to the professor's office. We both walked in as the man grinned like a Cheshire cat. "Ah, my two favorite students."He chuckled. “Don't tell anyone I said that.”We ignored that statement and did what we came here to do, execute the project. The professor examined the work of art with surprise in his eyes. "This is truly hellish. There are a lot of emotions here."I almost groaned. I mean, again, with the emotional bullshit.“You both did this together. I can see it. Ryan, you did the groundwork, the planning. And Sally, you got it all done.”Ryan and I nodded in agreement with whatever the man had just said.“We'll go now,” I bowed and left the room with Ryan following.I stopped
Sally's POVFor goodness sake, I got out of bed and grumpily opened the door with a clear frown on my face."What?"“You are a rude nephew.” It happened so fast, that the old man hit me on the forehead. That's hurt. Yes, I'm a bit of a whiner, but that's normal when my hormones are out of whack. My life. Very depressed.Grandfather took me to a remote forest owned by this herd. How could an old man see anything in the dark like this?In the middle of this dark forest, there was a lifeless person, not just any person - he was one of the men who accompanied my grandfather and me on this trip. Now, he is dead. A long line stretched from the base of the throat to the bottom of the abdomen, now haphazardly stitched, red, and disgusting.Something was hidden in this corpse.Grandfather knelt next to the body and removed the stitches. The moment the content appeared, my blood boiled. It is estimated that there were about 20 or more small packets consisting of white powder. I know what it is,
Sally's POVI gave my grandfather a confused look. "Those men on the highway and this guy killed my parents? My parents were murdered?"My breath is hoarse. “You didn't tell me anything, grandpa?”We both remained on the roof of the building in complete silence. I didn't miss the sound of the wind howling around me, covering my body with its coldness."I'm sorry, Sally." He sighed, truly regretting hiding the truth from me. "I will tell you everything soon, but what you need to know from tonight is that not all assassins are the same, the Donne family does not kill innocent people. We destroy evil. We protect the innocent."He said proudly. "That's what your other grandparents meant. You're the protector."The old man looked around. "We can't stay here long. We have to leave, now." He led the way and I followed him.Almost everything seemed clearer at that point.—-------------In just four days my period ended and my hormones calmed down.As I watched these creatures fighting on the
Sally's POVIt's Athena.“Sally!”My left ear felt like it was about to be punctured. I sighed."What?" I hissed. That girl even dared to giggle after damaging my hearing. “I miss you, very, very much. Now tell me, where are you? Visit. Do I need to remind you? The Fall Festival is four days away and I need my shopping partner."I just rolled my eyes. “First of all, why are you still awake, it's past midnight. Second, I won't go to the prom. And finally, go with Albert or Ryan's girlfriend.” My eyebrows furrowed "Wait, is Allen with you?"“He's not my problem. But, what do you mean you're not going?" She said curtly, ignoring my first question.“I don't want any of them, I need you. Sally, can you hear me? I need you." Athena snapped, irritated at me.“And let me tell you. Albert is hopeless when it comes to shopping, and that girl is as annoying as a fly.”“You can't force me.” I threw my bag over my shoulder. “I just got home, wanted to rest, and didn't want to go out.""I can and I
Sally's POVArnav greeted both Athena and me, then followed us from one entrance to the other. It took us two hours to find Athena the perfect dress and shoes to match her outfit.“Now, it's time to find you a dress." Athena beamed with excitement.I shook my head. "No, thanks. I said I won't go. I'm only here because you need your shopping partner.”Athena laughed evilly. “You underestimate me, Sally. You think you're here because I need you, but I have plans for you.”“I'm not going anywhere, Athena," I repeated.I could see Arnav smirking from the corner of my eye. “She will be there, I promise you.”Athena's eyes lit up with excitement. "That's right."“By whose orders do you make any promise on my behalf?” I took a look at him.His smirk remained. “Didn't you hear? I said so because if you don't go, I will tell everyone your utmost fear."He's so cocky now. “Plus, I'd love to see you in a dress once.”I turned pale. He is the only one who knows my fears, while everyone else think
Sally's POVArnav approached me with a grin like a Cheshire cat. “If you can shoot a gun without hesitation, I'm sure you can confidently walk in high heels.” He patted my head like it was no big deal.Easier said than done.“Come on guys, I'm hungry.” Athena waved to us as we approached the food court. Arnav rushed towards the girl, leaving me alone and sullen. However, my life is beyond chaos, it is a series of hellish feelings, like a nightmare.—--------------The same day after we went shopping, that evening, during dinner, Arnav publicly announced that I had an autumn ball to attend in four days.Everyone in the dining room froze, for a moment, before running around like a headless chicken, screaming and calling to see if they needed to get me a dress. They all know that I'm a college student, well, let's just say they know everything there is to know about me (hopefully except for part werewolf mate). They even went out of their way to have a bodyguard follow me on my first day
Sally's POV“Open the mirror,” my grandmother said to the maids. When the bed sheet over the mirror was pulled down, my grandmother turned me around to face the mirror. I have to say that I had no idea who was standing in front of me. Did the helper remove the cloth from the mirror? This girl in the reflection looks nothing like me. This girl looks beautiful, so there's no way it's me."It's you, Sally," Grandma reassured me while holding my hand.I turned back to the mirror and saw how we moved at the same time, at the same speed, and in the same posture. This girl in front of me is me, but how? My long red hair was pulled back into this messy bun with two tassels on each side of my face. And my face, what kind of makeup did I have on?"That, my little cousin, is the power of makeup," Arnav smirked. "Wonderful, isn't it?"I silently sighed. "Please, don't ruin this moment."When one of the maids gave Grandma the camera, I groaned. "Photo time." The woman exclaimed after glaring at me
