Thirty-Seven

Sally's POV

Frowning, confused at the man walking back and forth in front of the room. Just what is this old man doing? Detaching my attention from the book, I forced myself to step out of the room and ask more questions.

The old man turned around and raised his eyebrows. "Didn't you hear what I said?" He stopped.

"Why?"

He took a deep breath to begin. “We will be out of the country for a week or more.”

Leave? A week or more. But, I have a test to face. I couldn't fail all the classes I took, I wanted to graduate, and besides, I missed too many classes.

I was about to protest and all, but he quickly beat me to it. “Please don't question or object to me anymore. Just do as I say and we'll be out of here by sundown tomorrow.”

I guess I have to stay up all night and pray that all my professors will let me take the pre-test as a special case.
