Thirty-Five

Sally's POV

I thought I had everything under control when I tried to leave the current position I was in, but I misjudged myself.

The second I took that first step, my body shut down. But, I know someone has my back. They held me tightly as if I were a porcelain doll.

"If only you'd stop pushing people away, you'd realize we're all trying to help you like you're trying to help us." He said before I passed out.

Ok... What is he talking about?

I woke up feeling lethargic, my ribs no longer hurt, but this room, please don't tell me I'm in his room again.

Now, I thought I would at least have a peaceful time when I woke up, but no, someone was sitting by the bed and staring at me as if I was a corpse that needed to be mourned.

"Didn't your mother ever tell you that staring at someone is rude?"

His mind must have been out of this room to notice that I was awake and looked startled when I spoke.
