Chap. 4

One month later. 

Braaakk!

"You incompetent piece of work!" snapped Zack in an angry tone. He pounded the table to vent his anger. Because until now his assistant could not find the whereabouts of the woman who had spent the night with him. 

It's been a month since Zack tried to find the woman's whereabouts. But he didn't get the results he wanted. This made Zack even more anxious and afraid. Afraid that she would cause a big problem for him. 

"I'm sorry, Mr. Zack. I have mobilized my men to look for the woman you are referring to. But they didn't find her," Nando excused himself. 

Nando himself was also surprised, when viewed from the CCTV footage at the hotel where the incident occurred, the woman looked like a weak woman. But strangely he and his men could not find the woman his boss was referring to. 

"I don't want to know! You have to find that woman, or you're fired!" 

This was the last warning Zack gave Nando. Zack couldn't be patient anymore. It's been a month, which means she's probably pregnant, Zack thought. And Zack was pretty sure that his guess was right. 

Meanwhile, Nando hurried to say goodbye, then left Zack's room. Before his boss got even more angry with him. He had to work harder, because this was about his work reputation. 

Nando mobilized his men again. Gave orders to them and spread out in various places to look for the woman. Nando also shared a sketch of the woman's face with his men. Although not clearly visible, because the woman's face was not caught by the camera. And this is what makes Nando a little difficult. Because he could only analyze the woman's face from Zack's statement and also her movements on the CCTV camera. 

Inside his office, Zack's feelings were getting mixed up. He couldn't just sit here. Then the tall and handsome man got up from his place, and stepped out of his office. 

"I have to find her myself." Zack muttered as he stepped into the parking lot of his car.

"No way! I can't be pregnant!" Nara shouted when she saw the pregnancy test with a positive result. 

Nara's world seemed to collapse when she saw the pregnancy test that said she was pregnant. She was still young, there was no way she could live a normal school life with only a few months left before graduation. 

Her mother was still recovering. How could she tell her mother that she was pregnant. Nara was confused, not knowing what to do.

Abort her pregnancy? Obviously Nara wouldn't do that. She would never become a murderer. Nara was in a dilemma. If she continued her pregnancy, then what about her school? She was only a few months away from graduating. 

Nara was getting frustrated. The girl was screaming, crying, regretting the decision she had made earlier to save her mother's life. If this was the case, who would she hold accountable? Meanwhile, Nara herself didn't know who the man was. 

"Nara, what's wrong with you, aren't you going to school?" from outside the bathroom, Nara's mother knocked on the door with a worried look. She had heard Nara scream earlier. 

Nara was shocked. She immediately wiped away the tears and hid the pregnancy test in her pants pocket. 

"Nara?" called Nara's mother again. The woman grew increasingly worried as she faintly heard the sound of sobbing from inside. 

Afraid that something had happened to her daughter, Maria broke down the bathroom door and just walked in. Maria was shocked to see Nara looking not at all well. 

"What happened, Nara?" asked Maria in a worried tone. 

Nara shook her head. She wanted to tell her mother that she was fine. But when she remembered the fact that she was pregnant, Nara's tears fell without stopping. Making Nara look even more fragile. 

Maria hugged her daughter. Letting Nara vent her emotions. After things calmed down, Maria took Nara out of the bathroom and brought her to the living room. They both sat on the long sofa in the living room. 

Maria did not immediately ask Nara any questions. She waited for her daughter to calm down and tell her own story. 

After a while, Nara began to calm down. Maria immediately wiped Nara's tear-drenched face. 

"Are you relieved?" asked Maria in a gentle, loving tone of voice. "What's wrong, Nara? Tell me." 

What mother wouldn't be worried seeing her only daughter crying for no reason. Whereas previously Nara was in good condition. Moreover, Maria had almost never seen Nara cry. Her daughter was a tough and strong woman. She never showed her sadness in front of Maria. 

Nara felt heavy, unable to tell her mother the truth. Nara did not want to make her mother think about what she was going through now. She was afraid of her mother's illness relapsing. 

Nara shook her head. As if to tell her mother that she was in good condition. However, a mother's inner bond is not easily deceived. Maria continued to urge Nara to tell her daughter the truth. 

And when Nara spoke, expressing her wishes, Maria looked shocked. 

"What did you say?" Maria wanted to make sure that Nara had misspoken. 

Meanwhile, Nara took a breath, trying to calm herself down. 

"Let's move out of here, Mom." Nara repeated her words. 

This time Maria was sure she hadn't heard wrong. Her body suddenly felt weak. I don't know what kind of problem Nara was facing. So that her daughter asked to move out of this city. 

"But why, Nara?" Maria couldn't just accept Nara's request. Until the girl told her the truth. "What exactly happened to you?" Maria pressed Nara even more, for her daughter to tell her. 

Of course, Nara felt it was getting harder and harder. Either tell the truth to her mother, but with the consequence that her mother's health condition would deteriorate. Or lying to her mother. But Nara knew very well that her current condition could not be concealed forever. 

"Nara is pregnant, Mom," Nara said in a very soft voice. Even Nara looked down, not daring to look directly at Maria. 

"What, are you pregnant?"

As Nara had expected, her mother would be shocked to hear the reality that was so bitter for Nara. But Nara also had no other choice, but to be honest with her mother. 

On the other hand, Maria still couldn't accept the fact that her proud daughter was pregnant out of wedlock. 

Suddenly Maria got up from where she was, looking at Nara angrily. 

"Who got you pregnant, Nara? Tell me! Who is the father of the child in your womb right now?" Nara's cries grew louder as she saw her mother's unstoppable anger.
