Ivy’s POV

I wasn’t sure whether to feel angry, betrayed, or just utterly exhausted. There was a dull, gnawing ache in my chest that I couldn’t shake, no matter how many times I tried to breathe through it.

Watching Lila, so calm and composed, put on this act of concern, pretending to offer help when all I saw was manipulation, felt like a slap in the face.

But I wasn’t going to break. I refused to let her see it. I wasn’t going to give her the satisfaction.

I had thought she wouldn’t bother me again after the last time, but here she was, filling me in with her sorry stories.

And Connor? What sick game are they both playing? They think I’m the same weak helpless girl?

As she leaned in, her voice soft, almost too soft, I could feel the subtle pressure building in my skull. She was good—too good. Every word that left her mouth, every look she gave me, was calculated. She knew exactly what buttons to push. I could feel her fishing, prodding for a crack, and I refused to give it to her.

  • Stuck Between Two Alphas   “In the Grip of the Beast”

Leo’s POVWhen I stood from the bed earlier today, I felt Ivy’s warmth retreating from my side. The haunting nightmare from before gripped me tightly, but it was not enough to tear me away from Ivy’s presence, her scent lingering in the room like a drug I craved. Before I snuck out of her room, I left her a note on the pillow, knowing her soft eyes would find it the moment she stirred.“I’ll always be here, Ivy. My heart is yours, no matter what I become. Just a promise I’ll never break. Leo.”I couldn’t help but smile as I thought of her reading it, even though the ache in my chest from the nightmares still lingered. I needed to go, needed to clear my head. With a last look at her peaceful sleeping form, I headed towards the balcony. I leapt from the ledge and landed with a soft thud, my boots kissing the pavement. My penthouse was still dark as I entered, and the silence seemed to follow me, a stark contrast to the chaos of the night before. I made my way to my desk, the soft glow

The air between Leo and Ivy crackled with intensity, their lips locked in a kiss that spoke of a hunger both physical and emotional. The secluded restaurant path, hidden from prying eyes, offered the perfect setting for the raw passion they shared. Ivy's hands slid through his hair, her breath quickening as she felt his warmth, but then, suddenly, the moment was broken."Leo," she murmured against his lips, trying to catch his attention. But Leo didn’t respond right away. A figure stepped into their space, clearing his throat.Ivy’s heart skipped a beat as Leo pulled away with lightning speed as soon as his driver whispered something to his hearing alone, a noticeable shift in his demeanor. His eyes, once soft and filled with affection, were now sharp, cold. The warmth that had enveloped them was gone. He sat up abruptly, causing Ivy to stagger, almost losing her balance in the process. She barely noticed, too consumed by the sudden shift in him. His face darkened, his posture rigid.

  • Stuck Between Two Alphas   Alpha vs. Alpha

Ivy’s POV Leo.His growl deepened, vibrating the very air around them. His presence was suffocating, commanding, and utterly terrifying. Connor’s wolf tensed, his fur standing on end as he suddenly veered to the side, an unmistakable sign of submission. My heart skipped a beat as a thought crossed my mind. Leo isn't just any Alpha, is he?—what if he's something more. "And what should I call this drama?" his voice rumbled through the still night, sharp and cold, and my breath caught in my throat.Leo emerged from the shadows like a storm, his form towering and undeniable, eyes burning with the ferocity of a predator. His gaze locked onto Connor and I, a storm of emotions swirling behind the ice-cold exterior. My heart hammered in my chest, a mix of dread and desire bubbling inside me. I could feel the intensity radiating from Leo—raw, possessive, and dangerous."You think you can just take her on a ride?" Leo’s voice was a low growl, laced with fury as he glared at Connor. "You thi

  • Stuck Between Two Alphas   The Chase of Shadows

Leo’s POVI stood on Ivy's balcony, her scent wrapping around me like a drug I could never escape. My wolf stirred restlessly beneath my skin, satisfied that she was in my arms but unsettled by her resistance. She stood before me, trembling with anger, her chest rising and falling as she glared at me with those piercing eyes."I'm sorry for leaving like that," I said for the third time, but Ivy wasn’t having it. She barely glanced at me, scrolling through her phone like I didn’t exist.I didn’t mean to ditch her like that at the restaurant. But when my driver told me about someone shady lurking around my house, my instincts kicked in before I could even think.First thought? Dina. Second thought? A clueless rogue. There’s something about the glint in her eyes during our last meeting that’s been messing with my head lately. Like, she knows exactly who I am, but she’s playing dumb. And that’s way scarier than I could imagine. If she’s figured out where I live, that puts her one step clo

  • Stuck Between Two Alphas   The Keeper

Leo’s POVI stepped into Ivy’s room, my pulse thundering in my ears. Her scent clung to the air—sweet, soft, but now tainted with the acrid stench of fear. My wolf prowled beneath my skin, his growls echoing in my head. Every instinct screamed at me to find her, to protect her, but she wasn’t here. “Ivy!” I barked again, the sound tearing from my throat like a primal snarl. Nothing. Just the eerie quiet of the room, her belongings scattered as if she'd left in a hurry. My gaze darted around, landing on the dresser, the bed, the closet. Nothing out of place except the cold void where her presence should be.That’s when I felt it—a scent, sharp and rancid, curling in my nostrils like smoke. It wasn’t hers. This was foreign, disgusting, almost like the decayed underbelly of something evil. A rogue? Maybe. But it was layered with something… worse. My chest burned with every inhale, the stench clawing at me like poison. Who was it? How the hell did someone get in here? And how did they k

  • Stuck Between Two Alphas   Ivy’s Nightmare

Ivy’s POVI was still fuming when I stormed into my room, slamming the door shut behind me. The anger wasn’t truly directed at Leo anymore, yet it clung to me like a stubborn shadow. My heart pounded, but it wasn’t rage fueling it—it was fear, confusion, and something far worse: memories.I paced back and forth, rubbing my hands together, trying to shake the unease crawling over my skin. This is the second time Leo is chasing after an intruder in my home. My father had designed my room to be a fortress, a place where I could always feel safe. He built it with a hidden panic room—his way of protecting me after what happened to his first daughter. But right now, even that reassurance couldn’t steady my nerves. That’s when I heard it—a hum, soft and distant at first, but chillingly familiar. My body froze, every muscle locked in place. No. It can’t be.But it was. That sound… I knew it too well, like a nightmare resurfacing. It sent an icy shiver down my spine, rooting me to the floor.

  • Stuck Between Two Alphas   A Safe Place...Or Is It?

Ivy’s POVI remained in Leo’s arms, my heart still racing, but his steady presence grounded me. His soft murmurs of reassurance filled the quiet room. “It’s okay, Ivy. You’re safe now.” He didn’t want to leave me alone, especially with my father and uncle away. After a moment, he helped me pack my things. I grabbed a few essentials, and Leo carried my suitcase as we headed downstairs. Strangely, the entire mansion was eerily quiet—too quiet. It was as if the servants and security staff had all decided to sleep at once. My unease grew as I dialed Paul’s number, the head of security, but there was no answer. We walked toward the security quarters, where I cautiously opened the door. Inside, Paul was sprawled on the floor, unconscious, while the other guards were slumped in their chairs, deep in an unnatural sleep. My breath hitched. ‘Did the Keeper do this?’ The thought surfaced before I could push it aside. I knelt beside Paul, shaking him gently, but he didn’t stir. “Paul, wake

  • Stuck Between Two Alphas   "Who is Leo Ashton?"

Ivy’s POVI stood frozen by the window, my breath caught in my throat. There, in the shadows just beyond the tall wrought-iron gates, stood a figure. Its silhouette was vague, but the glimmer of pale eyes staring directly at me sent a chill down my spine. I couldn’t make out the details, but the feeling was unmistakable—it has to be the Keeper.Did I scream? I couldn't tell anymore. I thought Leo said I was safe here? How is the keeper here as well? The figure’s gaze didn’t falter, and my heart began to pound in my chest. ‘What does it want? Why is it here?’ I reached for my phone, but my hands were shaking too much to type. Without thinking, I rushed to the door, my instincts pulling me away from the dark figure outside. Before I could step into the hallway, a heavy knock echoed through the door. Startled, I spun around, my pulse quickening. I hesitated, staring at the door for a long moment, debating whether to answer. Another knock followed, more insistent. "Ivy, it’s Leo," cam

  • Stuck Between Two Alphas   The Stalker Returns

Ivy's POV John Rodney. I hadn't seen him in years, but I could never forget that face. The greasy, stringy hair, the hollowed-out cheeks, the nervous twitch of his lips—he was another ghost from my nightmares, standing right in front of me in handcuffs. I couldn't breathe. The room shrank around me, the past crashing over me like a wave, dragging me back to a time I had fought so hard to forget. The café.The smell of roasted coffee beans and caramelized sugar had once been comforting—a small piece of normalcy I had clung to.I once loved working at that café, pouring lattes and wiping down counters, believing that with every shift, I was proving something. Proving to my father and uncle that adopting me wasn’t a mistake. Proving that I wasn’t just some broken girl, a discarded thing left to rot in the shadows of her past. They had given me another chance at life, a home, a family. And I was desperate to show them I deserved it. That I wasn’t useless, like everyone in my

IvyI had misunderstood Leo. That much was clear now, and guilt gnawed at my insides. But what choice did I have? I had been betrayed before, left to pick up the shattered pieces of my trust. So when the woman claimed to be his mate, when the world whispered doubts in my ears, I assumed the worst. And now? Now, as Leo held my hand, leading me toward the exit, I should have felt relief. Instead, unease crawled up my spine. The ding of the other elevator echoed behind us, and hurried footsteps approached from my left. “Connor?”His name left my lips before I could stop it, my voice betraying an excitement I hadn't expected. Why was I so happy to see him? All of a sudden, Leo’s presence became suffocating. The warmth of his grip, once reassuring, now made my skin crawl. My mind screamed that this was Leo—the man I loved—but a deeper instinct recoiled, repulsed and... scared. I tried to pull away, but Leo’s grip tightened. He ignored Connor entirely, dragging me outside. At th

Leo Why the fuck is she here? Isn't she the reason we're in this mess in the first place?"Um, Mr. Ashton. I think you need to leave. You have a guest, and I would like to have a moment with my guest," I heard Ivy say as she took her seat, arranging the files closest to her on the desk.A moment with Connor? Like hell am I supposed to let that happen?!"Isabella, what are you doing here?" I demanded angrily, turning towards her.Isabella is my friend, no mistaking. She was one of the people that knew I was the Alpha King before I revealed my face. She had been at her modeling academy, and I should be happy she's back after so long, but how could she think of spewing such nonsense to Ivy? This past week, I've been nothing but hard on her. She joined the manhunt and was deprived of proper rest as well. How could she dare to be all cozy when my mate is out there, possibly in danger?"Leo? Did you hear what I just said?" She asked, tugging at my shirt. The action made my wolf flinch bac

Leo"Can you all excuse us, please?" Ivy said, her voice calm, collected—too collected. The members of her board exchanged glances before rising from their seats. Some murmured under their breath as they exited the room, their whispers grinding against my nerves. But I didn’t come for them. I came for her. How could she be here? How could she not tell me? I had spent the last week unraveling, losing my mind as I scoured every inch of the forest, every desolate place, searching for her. My men combed through the darkest corners of the city. I even consulted the sorceress, desperate to track her down, to find out if Dina had taken her. But there was nothing. No trace. No scent. Nothing. The sleepless nights, the hunger, the ache—it all consumed me. The darkness became my companion, pressing into me, sinking into my bones. Every second without her was agony. And now, here she was, seated as though I wasn’t standing right in front of her. As though my very presence didn’t burn th

IvyI took a deep breath and steadied myself. Shaking off the remnants of my nightmare, I moved toward the bathtub, turning the shower on to let the hot water wash away the lingering unease.Once I was clean, I wrapped myself in a plush towel and stepped in front of the mirror. My reflection stared back at me, pale but composed. I couldn't afford to look fragile. I couldn't afford to look like my nightmares.I picked an elegant black pantsuit from my wardrobe, pairing it with a silk blouse in a muted shade of blue. The structured blazer sat perfectly on my shoulders, a protective armor of its own. After fastening a delicate silver bracelet around my wrist, I slipped on a pair of sleek heels. My fingers worked through my hair, styling it into a sophisticated low bun—sharp, professional, controlled. Light makeup followed—just enough to conceal the exhaustion beneath my eyes. A soft nude lipstick finished the look. With one last glance in the mirror, I straightened my posture. Whatev

IvyI blinked against the darkness of the room, my heart pounding for a second before I registered the sound. It was coming from the door. The voice on the other end called me again. It was Joe.Joe came in and handed me the new phone. With trembling fingers, I dialed my father’s number. The moment he picked up, my composure crumbled. “Dad,” I choked out, my voice breaking as tears streamed down my face. “Oh my God, Ivy!” he screamed instantly, his voice thick with unshed tears. “Are you okay? Talk to me. Where are you?”“I—I’m fine now,” I managed between shaky breaths. “The police are handling it. I just—I just wanted to hear your voice.” He let out a slow, heavy breath. “I’m so sorry,” he said, his voice raw with guilt. “I’m sorry your uncle and I weren’t there when you needed us.” A sob escaped me before I could stop it. “I was so scared, dad,” I admitted. “I know, baby,” he murmured. “But you’re safe now. That’s all that matters.” He paused. “Tell me what happened. Who

IvyMy fingers trembled slightly as I thought of calling my father and uncle, knowing they would be worried sick. But a call right now would only open the floodgates of emotions I wasn’t ready to face right here. I’d call them when I was home, where I could breathe, where the walls wouldn’t feel like they were closing in. But every second I lingered in this pack, the past pressed down harder, threatening to pull me under.A soft knock on the door made me pause. I turned to find Connor standing in the doorway, his gaze filled with an emotion I couldn’t quite place.“You’re leaving,” he stated rather than asked, his voice rough with something akin to regret.“I need to,” I replied, moving away from the mirror after fixing my hair.Connor stepped forward, blocking my path. “Ivy, please. Aria. Not Ivy. That name belonged to the girl who had died long ago, buried beneath betrayal, rejection, and loss. How many times do I have to remind her not to call me that?!I stiffened, my jaw tightening as I met her gaze. “Don’t call me that. Ever.”She smiled, but it was sharp, all teeth. “Why? Does it hurt? Does it remind you of everything you lost?” Her eyes gleamed with something dark—satisfaction, perhaps. Or maybe something worse. “Good.”My nails bit into my palms. I refused to give her the satisfaction of seeing me break. Not again. I had clawed my way out of hell—o
