HAILEE'S POV.

I dragged myself up from the floor and walked over to the bathroom to drink water from the sink. My throat was so parched from being locked in that room for what seemed like forever. I was so hungry, my stomach growled and twisted in knots. I didn't know how long I had been in there, but I knew it was long enough for me to feel weak and dizzy.

My room was so small, and the window was way too high for me to jump out of. I was trapped like a fucking rat, and nobody was coming to save me. I sat on the bed, feeling hopeless and helpless.

Suddenly, I heard the lock click, and the door opened. Sebastian came in and handed me a plate of food. I was starving, so I didn't hesitate to dig in. But before I could even take my third bite, he grabbed my neck and squeezed, making me choke. I coughed and gasped for air as tears streamed down my face.
