Sitting here in front of Alpha Luca I’m beginning to get impatient waiting. Alpha Thomson is running his mouth over and over about whether we should give him the land.
“Enough, we are waiting for my daughter to arrive, she is filling in for her brother while he’s gone taking care of a rogue attack that happened on one of my other territories. I’m currently getting him ready for taking over as alpha.” Alpha Luca explains I can’t be mad at him, he’s just doing what he needs for his pack.
“ She's almost 40 minutes late. Can’t you just take notes for your son?” Alpha Thomson
Just as he asks the smell of palm trees and honeydew turning around the most beautiful woman stomps into the room. She’s all pouty and looks irritated as she rolls her eyes. The way she talks to her father makes me want to bend her over my leg and spank her. She walks around me to Alpha Lucas' side. I resist the urge to growl, I know that’s her father but she's acting like she doesn’t notice me.
“ No, now sit.” Alpha Luca commands her. A growl leaves my mouth, holding Asher back is really hard right now. He’s distracted by how amazing she looks. Her hair pulled up,the way her clothes fit tight against her body, her tan skin standing out from the bright red flannel she is wearing.
Clearing my throat I nod in apology for my behavior, not taking my eyes off her she asks her father about it. Why is she acting as if she doesn’t feel the mate bond between us?
“ How old are you?” I blurted out
“Why do you care? She snapped, The attitude all over her face is adorable.
“ She's 17” her dad responded.
17? That means she doesn’t know or understand who I am, well the part I’m her mate anyways. I watch while her father explains to her what is going on. However her reaction confuses me.
“What’s wrong pup?” I ask as she holds her stomach in a pit full of laughter. I could listen to her laugh all day long but this isn’t something that is funny.
Her sassy mouth has no limits even when she knows she’s in the presents of three Alphas. She slumps down into her chair next to Alpha Luca crossing her arms across her chest.
“ Stop pouting.” I tell her as she's sticking her bottom lip out as she rolls her eyes for what feels like the third time. Between her attitude and the annoying pouting from Alpha Thomson she snaps on not only me but on him, putting him in his place, making me proud.
“Come here” I commanded smirking I look at her in awe
“No.”
Asher purrs but I growl at the disrespect she is showing. Which as expected earns me a growl from her father.
Sitting back in the chair I listen to her talk herself out of the rest of the meeting. I couldn’t resist being closer to her. I stand up grabbing her arm as she passes by me
“Be good pup” I whisper in her ear, earning myself more attitude.
Watching her walk out the door I turn back around to face Alpha Luca.
“ Thank you for having me and solving this dilemma with the land.” I announce signing the paper he hands me.
“ What agreement? I didn’t agree to anything? What about my land?” Alpha Thomson whines
“ Papers are already signed, man give it up.” bowing, I leave.
Who is that girl? I didn’t even get her name
“Well that was interesting boss” Hunter mocked
“ What are you yammering about Hunter?”
“ Oh just about how Alpha Luca’s daughter is your mate who doesn’t understand that yet and wait she already hates you.” he chuckled getting punched in the arm by Andrew
“ Ouch what the hell is that for?”
“ for being stupid! That's your future Luna you are talking about.” Andrew growled
“ yeah but obviously you missed the part where she laughed in the boss's face about being his mate.” Matt shrugged
“ Would you two shut the fuck up?! I’m not saving you when the boss kicks both of your asses for running your mouth!” Andrew yelled
“ Alright! Yes it does appear she doesn’t take a liking to me, which just could be because she can’t feel the mate bond yet. However Andrew is right shut the fuck up before I rip your heads off. But besides we have other matters to attend to at the moment. Andrew, I want you to go and speak to Alpha Luca and find out everything you can about her, her name, favorite color, movie, candy, etc! Everything,I want to know everything he can tell me about her. Also I know her mother is part angel, I need you to find out if she inherited that gene as well. If so, the moment she turns 18 she is to leave for our territory immediately so I can protect her.” I finished
“ woah woah woah!” matt gasped
“ Did you just say angel? Like with wings and a halo type angel?”
“ Yes, is that an issue?” I asked raising an eyebrow
“ no thats got to be so fucking cool! I wonder if she’d let me fly with her! like a parachute that doesn't have to land on the ground!” Matt said excitedly
“ Were you dropped on your head as a baby?” Hunter asked we all chuckled as Matt gasped and acted offended at his comment
We walked out of the packhouse to the cars when that same girl was standing on the porch with another guy. A growl leaves my lips earning me the eyes of the male on me.
“ Is there an issue Alpha Erik?” he asked
“ Who are you? I just haven’t seen your face here before.” I said crossing my arms against my chest.
“ oh well I’m Alexander sir! The next in line for Alpha of this pack.” he explained
“ I hope my little sister didn’t give you guys too much trouble replacing me in my appsense” he assured nudging her.
So this is the future alpha? He’s a skinny tan boy with crazy short black hair on his head. He's pretty tall for his age. Given that he’s a few inches taller than me I’m glad he still shows respect!
“ uhh what might be her name? She never told us in the meeting.” I asked
“ you didn’t even introduce yourself? You want to be an Alpha female so badly but yet you constantly act like a brat instead! When you find your mate you are gonna have a rude awakening if he happens to be an Alpha!” He hissed at her
Damn even her brother is tired of her shit
“ I apologize for my sister, she’s a little how do I put this.. stubborn” he added
“ It's okay uh her name?” I reminded him
“ Oh right Alpha Erik, meet my annoying little sister Briella.” He smirked tapping his hand on her shoulder
She looks more annoyed that he told me her name than the fact that he’s been giving her shit this whole time.
“ You don’t need to know my name Erik! I’m none of your concern nor is this mate bond you keep talking about! So go back to your precious land and stay there!” Her attitude rolled over her in waves as she pushed past us and walked into the house
“ mate? Ohh you're my sister's mate! Yeah I feel sorry for you bud cuz she isn’t going to agree to that easily.”Alexander chuckled tapping me on the shoulder shaking his head as he headed inside as well
“ See, I told you she hates you! It’s that dang cold look you always have on your face the creepy way you stare at her I bet!” Matt announced hopping down the stairs
“ what?” Hunter asked
“ Have you not noticed the way he looks all the time!? When was the last time you saw him smile? Hmm, anyone?” He questioned
“ yeah he’s kind of right man!” Andrew said
“ man?” I asked raising an eyebrow
“ hey she got away with just calling your Erik!” He pouted
“ So you want to act like her now? And be disrespectful? She’s my mate. And where do you think it’ll get you? Hmm? Or do you want that ass whooping in front of another Alphas house?” I mocked
“ sir I..”
“ exactly. Now let’s go before he offers us to stay for dinner.” I commanded
The last thing I need is to sit at the table with all of them and listen more to her rudeness and disrespect. Once she turns 18 she’ll understand more, but right now, she’s lucky I haven’t bent her over my knee and spanked her for that mouth of hers.
Briella POV
Getting up for school this morning would have been what I’d be doing if my father wasn’t such a dick! Yes I know what I said about me rather wanting to train all week then go to school. But at least at school I get to sit down! Everytime I try to take a break he’s barking more orders at me. Like yeah I get it I was late to school! Big deal! I’m late all the time! I bet the other wolves that are late from other packs don’t deal with this! Stomping downstairs for breakfast, I smell bacon, eggs and hashbrowns coming from the kitchen. oooo how I love me some hash browns!! I decided on wearing a sports black bra with a cut off grey t- shirt and some black spandex shorts with sneakers with my hair into two French braids. Which I had my best friend Samantha help me do. Shut up, it's okay not to know how to do it!! Plus my hair is really long! Swinging open the kitchen door everyone looks at me in surprise
“ Okay, what is everyone looking at?”
“ you dip shit! We are surprised you got up early enough so you're not late this time.” My brother mocked
“ Oh shut up!” I rolled my eyes heading for the kitchen to get a plate
Grabbing three hashbrowns, 5 pieces of bacon and two big scoops of scrambled eggs on my plate I walked over to the table and sat next to mom.
“ dang sis did you save enough food for the rest of the pack?”
“ You know what, you are suck a dick! When you find your mate, I hope she gives you hell!”
“ hey watch your mouth young lady!” My mom warns
“ oh so I get in trouble for saying dick but he doesn’t get in trouble for calling me fat?” I whined
“ I didn’t say that!” He groaned
“ yeah you did!”
“ OKAY! You two knock it off! Briella, eat your food so you can start doing laps!” My father commanded me, sitting down next to mom.
Rolling my eyes I do as he says and finish eating my food. Placing my plate into the sink, I walk out the back door not saying another word.
They always take his side! Which is totally unfair! I know I can be a brat sometimes, and some of it is on purpose! But he’s a dick all the time!

Briella POV After my outburst on Erik my father finally let up on all the training and back off to school. I hate myself for going off on him like I did but sometimes I can’t help it, and he knows exactly what buttons to push. When I got back to the house last night as usual mom and dad were waiting for me in the kitchen along with him this time. I didn’t look at him or give him a single amount of my attention. He brought out the one part of me I’ve been working so hard to hide from everyone. So, I’ve declared to ignore him at all times and hope he’ll just go away. I turn 18 soon and if it really turns out he is my mate I don’t know what I’m going to do yet.
