I don’t think many have been able to hear the words but the few that are around me are now focusing on me not the ceremony. The King is leaning forwards in his chair as I lower my head. Why have I been so selfish, I don’t deserve him. I couldn’t see who he was before, why would he even still want me now. Now that he has found someone to replace me.
“Carry on Priest.” The Alpha demands, completely dismissing what I have just said. I take a deep breath in, closing my eyes. The room is now spinning around me and the rage is building up inside of me. My hands are rolled into fists and I am ready to punch the Kings lights out. As I am about to move, a pair of hands grab me from behind just holding on to my arms , which makes me think again.
“Calm now Eliza, I am here, I know how you feel but just don’t.” Noel whispers in a calm voice into my ear. Liam is walking over from half across the Room, alerted by the Alpha, I am sure.
Time is stood still as he runs his hands through my hair and I can hear him inhaling deeply. Nothing matters around us right now, it’s just him and me. Well, that until a cough from Gemma pulls both of us back to reality. I take a step back and look at her. If looks could kill I would have died an instant death right there.“Congratulations again Gemma and Jackson, I wish you both the best.” bowing lightly then I take my leave. No need to stay there any longer. Walking through the people, which seems to be taking forever just to be able to get out of sight. Down to the Beach I go, my happy place.Just in time to see the sun go down. I love how everything changes the moment the sun touches the water, it goes from a golden yellow colour into orange even pinks and purple before turning towards a light blue and then ending up in a dark blue, almost black. The Sky tonight is lit up by the Moon and stars, sitting in the sand I just quietly gru
After the first 10minutes I am already hanging but I preserve knowing if I carry on my body will jump into survival mode and it gets easier. We are actually all running at a good pace and everyone is keeping up well, no one left behind. I enjoy this! I am used to just one trainings partner, this is a whole new world for me, being part of a group. Glad I got my water bottle though as we arrive back all I want to do is run into the water to cool down. I am not alone as everyone is looking rather sweaty and hot.“Right, get your food and we meet again at 8 on the dot, no later.” Liam just walks off as if he didn’t just run with all of us, cool as a cucumber. The lack of sleep is not helping now as it suppresses my hunger. I don’t even bother following everyone else to get some food. Taking my trainers and socks off to walk into the ice-cold water. It doesn’t last long till it sends a chill up my spine so I just sit and relax in
I manage to push him off, pushing him away with my back legs as he presses me down to the ground with his weight. Blood dripping out his mouth as he backs up and only then I feel how hard he has actually bitten me. Limping towards my left side I need to shift my weight to the other leg, give my Shoulder time to heal and regain strength. Throbbing pain as I move to the side but I can’t show him how much it’s hurting me as he will now always go for the injured shoulder. A quick shake to make him believe I am alright, lowering my body slightly. I can feel his emotions going from dominant to insecure which could leave him now vulnerable towards my attacks. A quick pace attack and I manage to push him sideways with all the force my body has to offer. He didn’t get the chance to brace himself for the impact it had on him. Taking his eyes of me for a second which I use to my advantage, I manage to dig my teeth into his throat. I am against the Captain of the g
Just as if I knew He was coming around the corner Liam is stood with the mysterious Lady, they are just casually walking past and I stand still. Luckily, I had just in time wiped my Tears away. They turn left at the end towards the next set of stairs. I probably still looked dreadful.“Are you still awake?” Noel mind links me.“Still awake, yes... Is this what you mean with getting hurt?” I ask him straight.…“Yes.” It took him a short while to answer. “The Guy who was at Level 3 before, Ken. He told me earlier that she kept creeping in and out the Room all day long and that she tried to send him away. I was convinced it was only a matter of time.” You can hear how hard it is for him to tell me all this.Just then the door opens next to me and I try not to let it bother me. Jackson walks out slowly backwards. Just seeing him pushes all the tears back into my eyes and without even
More running on the Beach, just what I needed… right?“I better get on with it, that’s just what you get for overwhelming the King’s personal guard.” I say to myself as I walk slowly. I manage to get the reins around my head, but it doesn’t quite sit right over my shoulders, as the straps aren’t put on properly. It’s supposed to sit on me like a harness to minimise the rubbing on my shoulders but now that there is no one here to help me I have no choice but just leave it as it is. I keep saying Cart, but it kind of is like a Sledge, but with a cart top where all the logs are placed into. Maybe if I run closer to the water, it will make it a bit easier and not such a terrible load to pull the rest of the day.Having to pull it again makes me shudder. The pain I was in from pulling it for so long is only just starting to subside. Punishment when I should be celebrated. Urghhh… I let out a huff and puff as I tr
Taking it easy. Not done this in a long time usually I am one who is always busy. Yes, I was made to train by Zain but even when I didn’t have to, I was still with him, watching him or Aaron. I loved just spending time with them, watching Aaron do his drawings for example always fascinated me.Giving myself a bit more time to rest I try to lay back down in bed. I can now feel how deep the cuts must have been on my chest. Even now they feel on fire , a burning sensation under all the bandages. With it hurting so much I try to get myself to sleep clearing my mind, because if I think too much I won’t ever go to sleep and right now I need the rest.Once I drifted off, I felt at ease but it didn’t last for long.Sweating as these pictures keep popping into my head, hearing voices I have never heard before. Whispers. I can’t quite understand some of them but I try to concentrate, filtering out one that is the loudest,
“Have you found any trace of who could have handles the wolfsbane?” I ask as we sit there and I watch him stuff his face one sandwich at the time.“We found a little bottle that had wolfsbane in it, yes, but it was thrown into the bushes near the Castle wall. It broke into a million pieces so we couldn’t trace it to anyone. Hey, do you want to do something later? We are thinking of watching a Movie or something in the other Barracks this evening.” He smiles as he offers me more food. I shake my head.“I actually am going to the beach this evening, sorting some things out.” I know he will know that I will see Jackson. I knot my fingers together as I am slightly nervous how he will react.“Oh… okay. I had hoped you… Never mind.” He shakes his head slightly almost gone unnoticed.“Hoped what?” I question him.I had the hope you was done with running after him.” He si
I didn’t let go, something just clicked. We walk silently towards the Barracks when he suddenly stops. “Eliza? Let’s go this way.” He gazes towards the beach and the moon reflecting on the ocean sparkles in his eyes. I nod in agreement. He holds onto my hand tight, afraid of letting go. You can feel that something has changed, he is very calm but somewhat nervous. “Why did you run away?” He asks as he stops. “I don’t really want to talk about it. Hope you understand.” I answer looking down on our hands before trying to pull away. He holds even tighter. “Don’t always do this, stop running from me. I know what I said was wrong. Of course, I will always be there for you, always be here if you need a shoulder to fall back on. I am sorry that I let you down. I will try my hardest from now on to be the Friend that you need.” He then eases his grip on me and lets me go knowing he said what was bugging him. “This had nothing at all to do with you Noel
The Kitchen is quiet only a hand full of Maidens who I have seen before are now present. They are sitting at a table with some snacks. Usually, the table had always been full of food, ready for everyone working in and around the castle to take. The chatter stops as I enter the room and all eyes are on me, expectant but with a look of fear.“Hello” I say quietly before walking towards the five Ladies sitting around the table.A young Lady with light brown Hair, petite in size starts to speak as I take a chair to join them.“Many of the Kings slaves have left the Village in fear as soon as the Pack bond broke. There are not many of us left to keep the Kitchen running. We don’t even have a cook to make the meals. We were not sure what to actually do.” Her voice getting smaller towards the end as she looks down on the table.“But you are here. All five of you. If you are willing to work with me, we will prepar

“I want to reshape everything Faron has built, but I need your help. There won’t be the separation anymore between guards and fighters, instead we will have warriors. No two class between them anymore, everyone fighting for the same, the safety for our Pack. We will come out of this stronger than ever. Joseph , I would like you to be leading the training for everyone. The Wall needs to be taken down, if you could over see this.” Looking between Liam and Joseph who is slightly taken a back by my announcement of taking the wall down, I turn my attention purely towards Liam. “Liam, I would like you to be our Beta. I need your insight and knowledge as well as your loyalty. I hope you will agree that you are both an absolute asset to this pack and it would be sad to see either of you two leave.” Expectant I am awaiting eager on a reply from Liam agreeing with me but he stays still. “Yes, my alpha. We will get on the job r
The Castle is the same, it’s me who changed. Our lives are now going to be different, seeing everything through different eyes.Noel opens the car door, holding out his hand for me. Not going to lie but my legs are feeling like jelly as I step out of the Car. Some of the Guards are stood at the entrance welcoming us home, with a nod I recognise his effort. The Hall now certainly seems so much bigger than I could remember it and the sheer weight on my shoulders knowing that all the decisions are on me. The young Girls who Faron used for his amusement are all stood in the Hall in a small puddle, whispering as we enter. All eyes are on us as they are uncertain how to react.A quick look over to Noel, who is stood right behind me, gives me the confidence to speak up.“King Faron is now gone. He won’t be returning so your services are no longer needed. However, if you wish you can still work in the castle, y
I am sorry that I let you all wait to long for the story to continue. I had to write on another story and needed to take some time off due to the summer holidays, so I could spend time with my little girls while they had been off school, but I will return with more updates from November the 1st! I have already started to write a few chapters and am uploading them as we speak ready for daily updates to resume soon. Thank you so much for the continued support, it really means so much to me and my family!
We are the last ones to walk down the long white path. At the end a big Coffin One half of it is opened. They have extra built him a little stage, put drapes around the corners with white and grey organza lovingly draped around it. With big flower stands. I swallow hard. Not wanting to admit that it is his final goodbye. Up until now I managed to shield myself from the enormous pain and kept everything locked away. I don’t even hear what the Speaker is saying, nor when Aaron or Zain get up to speak and when they present their beautiful speeches they have prepared. I barely manage to look up but when I did, I could see Tim, Rasmus, Miller and Liam, staring in my direction. Their faces sad and full of emotions. Everyone is now turning to me and I jump a little as I realise that absolutely everyone’s eyes are on me. I breathe in sharply taking steps towards the Coffin. Seeing him there makes me realise how I have tried to avoid this situation. I didn’t even help to plan
A part of me wants to hold him up. Tell him, it’s okay. You can make wrong decisions and it would still work out. The other Part of me feels that it’s the way to go… We just wasn’t meant to be, maybe if we had met under different circumstances, we would have made it and we could have been happy together. If Faron had never entered his life, If He had grown up somewhere loved with his parents without all the lies… the what if’s take over all my thoughts as I stand there looking into the dark of the Forest. I don’t even notice for how long I was stood there, imagining how different our lives could have been. The strange feeling is still very prominent. When I turn around Noel is stood there looking at me and I am unsure whether I should go to him or walk away. I know its nothing good because he never looked at me like this before. The feeling is laying heavy over us and I am reluctant to accept it. “I didn’t want to do this to you. I know how hard it ha
“Yeah, I agree with Zara, Rose is all down to you Mom. What ever you want to do, we will support you and stand behind you. Fully and no questions asked. Gemma, I am not sure… it’s your Mate’s wife so not certain what you think is reasonable. Again, I help where I can obviously.” Zain looks between me and our Mother. “ Let’s get this straight - Jackson is my Rejected mate, after I talked to him yesterday it became apparent that really, I didn’t want him anymore. There was no feelings left from me, the bond has dissolved fully, He is a free wolf like he always wanted. I have offered him to stay here or if he wants to return to the Castle, he is welcome there too.” I point out as I grab for Noel’s hand who is looking rather confused at me. “Do I understand this right? You are not thinking of going back to the Castle, are you?” He shakes his head in disbelieve. “Yes, my plan is to go back to the Castle and I thought you
We lay there catching our breath for a good few minutes before either of us even thinks about moving and even though I hurt after fights this is just a different kind of ache you find yourself in. Muscles you don’t usually feel are now aching. Especially between my legs. I smile as I stare at the bedroom ceiling when Noel’s head pop’s up next to me and he rests his head on his shoulder stroking over my skin with his other hand. I lean my head to the side to meet his gaze on me. Without words we appreciate each other’s company, absolute silence, and a bit of feeling bliss in the air. “I am sorry I marked you, but it just felt so right in the heat of the moment.” I stutter with embarrassment as my cheeks heat up again. “You won’t hear me complain.” He lightly traces over his mark on his neck with a smile. My Tummy starts to rumble so we decide to get our clothes back on but just as I try to pull my underwear back on, he grabs me from behind kissi
