Liam had just closed the door to Chloe's house behind them and had her against the wall in the entranceway. He kissed her hard and Chloe felt her core heat up and spread to every inch of her. When Chloe woke up the next morning Liam was gone, and so were the handcuffs. She pulled herself together, took a shower, got dressed in one of the few outfits she had left out then grabbed her phone off the charger now fully charged and left for work.
