Eye To Eye

The moment Devine walks out of the clubhouse, she immediately feels strange inside her body.

Something amiss.

She stopped on her track.

Her cat-like eyes blinked, and her long eyelashes spread like butterfly wings.

Suddenly, her mind recalls the suspicious words and the ironic beam into Salem's aura. Also, the smugness is clearly written on Dalia's face as she exited the party.

Suddenly she was enlightened.

She cursed the man and woman instantly.

'What a fuck!ng shits!'

She quickly regained her senses.

Bumuntong-hininga siya ng malalim at saka nagmamadali siyang maghanap ng banyo.

Nagmamadaling kinuha agad niya ang kanyang cell phone sa loob ng kanyang bag.

She then started typing a message.

Devi: Fuck! I was drugged!

After sending a short message to her friend she immediately put down her cell phone on the side of the sink.

She washed her face quickly.

Sa mga oras na 'yon ay unti-unti na niyang nararamdaman ang tila pagiinit ng kanyang buong mukha. Nararamdaman rin niya ang unti-unting pagbigat ng mga talukap ng kanyang mga mata.

'Shit! Shit!'

Hindi niya mapigilang mapamura at kabahan sa mga oras na 'yon.

Suddenly, her phone lit up and vibrated.

She immediately picked up the call.

"Where the hell are you?! What the hell happened to you?! Why did it happen?! When?! Where?!" a panicked voice sounded at the other line.

Devi's heart throbbed. "Yanzy... I'm being drugged!"

"Where are you right now?!"

"Hotel. I locked myself in the washroom." sagot niya sa mga tanong ng kaibigan sa kabilang linya.

"What? Hotel? At ano ang ginagawa mo sa lugar na 'yan?" maririnig sa kabilang linya ang malaking pagtataka sa boses nito.

"Will you please stop nagging at me? I'm very dizzy right now and I feel like sleeping!" an anger heard in her tone.

"Don't sleep!" ang malakas na sigaw ni Yanzy sa kanya. "Okay, I'm sorry."

"What should I do now?" a helpless tone came out of her mouth.

Devi was very regretful in her decision to come to that party. She's not afraid of coming there alone, what she's afraid of is her current situation. She was being drugged, and she had no one to rely on in a situation.

Yanzy. Her friend who can she rely on is in another country.

How can she ask for her help now? Who can help her at that critical time?

"Dammit! I'm so very far from you. How can I save you?" Yanzy's sounds of panic.

"Hurry up! Just tell me what to do before the drugs can finally affect my entire body."

"You already knew the basics—"

"I already did wash my face." She cut her off immediately.

"You need a cold shower or you need to go to the nearby hospital or you need a man to satisfy—"

"Bullshit! I'm hanging up!"

"Wait. Devi—"

Hindi na niya ito pinatapos pa sa kanyang sasabihin. Then she hurriedly put her phone inside her bag.

At that time, a sudden heat slowly wrapped around her body. In her situation, she really must leave the hotel and rush to the nearest hospital before the heat on her body reaches its peak. She really knew that drugs is very dangerous to the body. She was also afraid of what would happen if it continued without any precautions.

Devi hurriedly washed her burning face again. Pinipigilan niya ang pagkakahilo at ang antok. It's better to surpass the drowsiness for a little longer before the drugs completely affect.

Pilit pa rin niyang pinaglalabanan ang kanyang nararamdam. Bago pa man ang lahat ay nagmamadali na siyang lumabas sa loob ng banyo.

She completely ignored her phone that repeatedly vibrated inside her bag.

Pagkalabas niya ng banyo ay agad na siyang nakaramdam ng panganib sa buong paligid. Even though she feels nervous she remains her collected and steady mind.

Nagmamadali siyang tumakbo patungo sa elevator. Ngunit may naramdaman siyang dalawanng bulto na nakamasid sa kanya sa magkabilang dulo ng hallway ng hotel na iyon.

'Shit! Where are those people? Wala ba talagang tao sa floor na ito? How come even the hotel staff is nowhere to be seen!'

Dammit!

Pagkabukas ng elevator ay agad sana siyang papasok ngunit naabutan siya ng isang lalaking nakamasid sa kanya. She didn't recognize him because he was using a black bonnet.

"Don't touch me!" agad siyang kumawala sa pagkakahawak ng lalaki sa braso niya.

The man remained unmoved. His hand held her arms tightly.

She felt nervous when the other man quickly approached them. She was trembling inside. A fear suddenly enveloped her in an instant.

She really knew that no one could help her at that time. She remained focused. Her bloodshot eyes fiercely darted at the man holding her arm.

She slowly put away her fear when the other man finally arrived on her other side.

"Let me go!" she said in a dangerous tone.

"Miss, kailangan mong sumama sa amin." Wika ng isang lalaki na sabay hablot ng kabilang braso niya.

She struggled but when she saw a man holding a knife she immediately stopped on her track.

She gritted her teeth.

"Very well. Tumahimik ka at kumalma. Ang kailangan mo lang gawin ay sumama sa amin Miss." Wika naman ng isang lalaki na may hawak na punyal na handang kumitil ng kanyang buhay.

"Paano kung ayokong sumama sa inyo?!" she remains fierce. The fear is nowhere to be seen.

"Sayang ang buhay mo kung papalag ka."

"Really?"

Kitang-kita niya ang masamang tingin ng dalawang lalaki na may hawak ng kanyang mga braso.

She ignored their malicious glimpse. The heat inside her body is increasing. If she delayed a little bit, she wouldn't know what would happen next.

Pinilit niyang pakalmahin ang sarili niya. Hindi niya matatanggap na may masamang mangyari sa kanya sa gabing iyon.

"Once again. Let me go!" ang mariing utos niya sa dalawang lalaki.

Hindi nakinig ang dalawa sa kanyang sinabi. Patuloy pa rin ang paghawak ng mga ito sa magkabilang braso niya. Nang bumukas muli ang elevator ay pinilit siya ng mga itong kaladkarin papasok.

With all her might, she finally moves her body.

The two men who were holding her hand were now groaning in pain after she forcefully bent her body to twirl and dislocate their arms.

Bago pa man siya masaksak ng isang lalaki gamit ang punyal nito ay agad na niyang sinipa ang kamay na may hawak n'yon. Then her second move was heartless and murderous. She rapidly hit as hard as she could the center of their thighs which made them unable to make a move against her.

Hindi maipinta ang mga mukha ng mga ito dahil sa sobrang pamimilipit sa sakit.

They cursed her badly at the top of their lungs.

She sneered. "Stupid. I told you to let me go but you didn't listen! Now, tell whoever ordered it. I will take double revenge for what they did!" then she fearlessly spurns her legs on both of their abdomens. She used all of her force.

Again, a horrible pain sounds in the background.

"I will take you off the hook. Now, we're quits." she then got inside the elevator.

She pressed the button with her blurry sight. Hindi niya alam kung saang floor siya dadalhin ng elevator. She leaned against the cold floor. Her body trembled, her legs hurt, and she was still dizzy, but she was glad that finally she surpassed her drowsiness.

Agad siyang lumabas ng elevator. Alam niya sa sarili niya na hindi na siya aabot pa ng hospital sa mga oras na iyon. The heat on her entire body is increasing rapidly and she feels pain anywhere.

She pursed her lips. Her bloodshot eyes showed a dangerous aura. Her breathing is in chaos.

She slowly feels weak.

At that moment she badly needs a very cold shower. She really badly needs to ease the uncomfortable feeling wrapping around her whole body.

Nagnginginig ang buong katawan na tinakbo niya ang malawig na hallway ng hotel. Sa floor na iyon ay wala rin siyang nakita ni isa mang tao. Wala ring staff na kahit isa. The whole place is solemn.

She quickly moved in front of each doorstep. She was trying to open the doorknobs but was dismayed at the end.

'Dammit!'

He cursed badly. He was hoping that a door would be open.

Patuloy siyang hinihingal at hinahabol ng kanyang hininga.

She feels hopeless.

Luckily, there is one hotel suite open from the inside. Agad niyang tinakbo iyon. Isang hotel staff na may tulak-tulak na cart ang s'yang palabas galing sa loob.

Before the man got outside the door she quickly moved. She pulled out the hotel staff and then pushed him away out of the door. And then a loud bang was heard.

She witnessed how shocked the man's face was. Hindi na niya iyon pinansin pa dahil sa nararamdaman niya sa mga sandaling iyon.

She leaned against the cold door. Her breathing is still chaotic. Her eyelashes trembling uncontrollably. Her legs trembled and were weak.

She was about to stir and find a bathroom to barge when there was a commotion in one of the room doors.

She was suddenly stunned when her eyes met a man in a black suit with dark eyes emitting a dangerous aura.

His eagle-like sharp eyes met her trembling cat-like eyes.

"Who are you?"
