Nights of the Nobles VII

“Ahhhh!” I have no idea where I am. I feel like my insides are so full that my breathing is a little uneven. As I examine the room as a whole, it becomes rigid. I can only describe the surroundings as being dark. I squint to see where I am, and when I glance down at my hands, I can see a blanket covering my lower body.

So everything was just a bad dream—a nightmare if one will describe it. I made an effort to quiet my breathing, shake my head, and blink my eyes before taking another thought to comprehend.

I open my eyes and start looking around when I could finally feel my breathing returning to normal.

The window across from me is open, so the room isn't completely black. The room has a small balcony that I can make out because of the moonlight beams that stream through it.

I look about before finally widening them to gaze at a familiar but menacing person.
