Grayson says nothing else. He walks us into his bedroom and closes the door, I hear it locking and expect him to place me down but he doesn't. He keeps my body wrapped around him as I cry and slowly he strips us on the walk to the bathroom. Stepping into the shower, he keeps me held against him.

I want to ask what happened, but I feel like he won't speak. I've questions though, like was it, Ruth? Where has he been? Why didn't he call on his way back so we knew? Also though, why is he hard?

That has thrown me, as soon as I wrapped my body around his I noticed it, but I didn't ask. Right now I just hold onto him and try to forget everything while trying to stop myself from crying. He's here and safe, so I should be fine now, but I'm not.
