Ivana was confused as to what she should do, she had never seen Davin this helpless before, she wondered what was bothering him to the extent he had to beat himself until he became dead drunk, she had thought about taking him back to his apartment but had decided against the idea, clearly he wanted her comfort, even though she was angry at him, Ivana could not help but feel pity seeing him this way.
