“You should still be careful,” Estelle had more to say but Skyler was already walking over to her with a bowl of soup prepared by Aunt Frances. Hence, she said her goodbyes to Paige and ended the call.

After talking to Estelle and getting her support and reassurance, Paige’s mood got even better. After lunch, she left her room and thought of walking around the office to help ease her digestion. Perhaps because she did not exercise lately, Paige felt her tummy upset for the past two days.

Coincidentally, some of the employees shared the same thoughts as her. As Paige got to the terrace at the end of the corridor, she saw two female staff already there.

Paige instinctively thought of changing to another spot but she overheard something that stopped her in her steps. “Say, why do you think Manager Zion suddenly had a change of heart when he’s been single for so long? If I knew this would happen, I would’ve tried harder, and who knows, I might have been that person.”

The female staff
