Paige finally felt a sense of relief after taking the morning-after pills. She put the box into her pockets just in case Zion’s secretary happened to see the box.

Throughout the past few days, Zion’s secretary did not lurk around that often as he did not have to search high and low for the other missing part of the kangaroo ears. Though it got Paige worried about exposing herself, she made it a point to keep the boxes of pills close to her.

The phone in her office rang at noontime. Seeing how she finally received a call after all this while, Paige hurriedly answered the call. “It’s the Director’s office, anything that I can help with?”

Paige was used to working as a secretary for Skyler. Hence, she blurted those words out of habit.
