Her gut feeling told her that what they were about to discuss was related to her, but since Alexander said nothing about it, he probably had his reasons for doing so. Hence, she did not refute and just nodded. “Okay.”

She walked to the car, opened the door, and got inside. Then she watched them through the window. Edward was saying something, and Alexander was stunned by what he had heard. Then his expression turned solemn, but the most crucial thing was that he had glanced in Lily’s direction.

Although Lily knew the car windows were tinted, and Alexander could not see her from the outside, she still avoided his gaze subconsciously, as if sh
