Gabriel and Marcel bring Detective Peace to the club.
The noise in the club is little as many try to find their way home before dawn arrives.
They sit Warren on a sofa and Gabriel pulls out his cell to make a call.
“Hello, Gabe”, Samuel answers on the other end of the call, “Where are you?
We need to talk,” Gabriel says, “I’m getting rid of the werewolves that came with Emily,” “Oh, good.
Where is Rachael?” “At the club, I left her with Bryan” Samuel says.
“Okay. Remember the detective?” Gabriel asks, “Detective Peace? What about him?”
“He is the one that led me to Gretchen, I thi
Cassandra feels pain around her body as she regains consciousness. She tries to move her hands but they are tied behind her back. She cannot see because of the black bag over her head. She tries to remain calm as her ears and nose assess her dark surroundings giving her an image of the situation. She drags her butt against the grass. She knows she isn’t far from where she intends to be. She perceives two strange scents close to her, these scents are familiar to the werewolf, “Vampires,” she mutters. “Werewolf,” Bryan says, “You are awake,” she says, “Shut up,” a voice says as a combat boot goes crashing into Cassandra’s side. “Shut up freaks,” a guard says as he points his gun at them. Marcus, Kate and Lucas go outside to have a private conversation while Elena sits with Rachael at the table. “I heard your mom was a badass,” Elena says with a cheerful smile which makes Rachael feel uneasy. “Don’t worry, the worst that can happen is for them to kill your friends but they won
Rachael tries her best to ignore Elena as she rants on about things unfamiliar to Rachael.Amid their one-sided conversation, Rachael picks up on some information about the family.Elena’s voice is overshadowed by gunshots and the two women share a glance.“Stay here,” Elena says as she and a few of the men go out to find out what is going on.Rachael glances at the door of the room where John is being held. Two armed men guard the door. The gunshots continue outside and Rachael begins to wonder what the situation is outside.
Samuel stands confused at the doorway as the scene looks strange to him. He was pumped up for a fight after Marcel came to inform him about the attack on Gabriel. So seeing his brother and the hunters conversing seems strange. Something here feels off. He can see that John is bruised and battered but what troubles him is Rachael’s presence. What is she doing here? Samuel’s nose picks on the smell of bullet shells and he sees the wall of the cabin that has been damaged. What happened? What made the hunters stop attacking Gabriel? He enters the cabin, observing the people in the room with side glances. Rachael rushes to Samuel’s side and hugs him. Her body is soft against his and her scent gives him a strong and soft chill in his chest. But this turns to sadness when he thinks of how it could be so easy to take her away from him. He notices that her shirt is torn in the chest and he touches it. “A gunshot,” he mumbles and his face turns into a frown. He looks at his broth
They split up into two cars; Rachael and Gabriel stay in a different car from Elena. Staying with her would not be a good idea, especially for Elena. Elena drives Samuel, Elma and Bryan in her car as they follow behind Gabriel and the rest of the group. Silence is the name of the game in the car. Bryan is happy to be silent as anything can put Samuel off since he failed to keep Rachael safe, the vampire is happy to keep himself away from Samuel’s spotlight. Elena is scared and does not know what to do. She has never been left alone with vampire comrades. It’s not something she thought she would never do until today. And since she saw Gabriel's healing stunt, she suspects that these twins are no ordinary vampires.Elma just observes Samuel, anticipating his next move. She knows he did not agree to this because he likes Elena but the opposite. She smiles to herself, “Are you scared, human?” Elma asks Elena, “Scared? Of what?”. “Us,”. “My family and I have been killing your
Elena was a party lover while in college and she went to the best parties in school. Entering the club reminds her of the good days before she went full time into the family business of hunting the supernatural. There are a few people in the club as the DJ gradually kills the beat. Elena sees a man asleep on a sofa holding an empty glass. She scoffs; she notices bright eyes and shady characters in the dark corners of the club. Vampires. Of course, there are vampires in here. Elena is on alert as she becomes wary of the creatures in the dark. She carries her bag while her eyes scan the dance floor. Bryan is happy to return to his post at the counter and Elma is happy to order a drink. It feels deserved. Bryan pours Elma a glass of whiskey and she gulps her drink and sighs deeply. “I needed that drink,” she says, “I am going to need one too,” Samuel says as he joins Elma at the counter. “Where will I be staying?” Elena asks as she joins them at the counter but everyone ign
Warren Peace parks his car by the side of the road just opposite the club, Clouds. He arranges his suit and rubs his hair as he makes his way to the club. He enters with the smell of holy ash around him. His eyes pick Gabriel out at the club; he wears a black leather jacket and he seems to be having a conversation with one of the bar girls. “I have some information,” Warren says as he joins the immortal at the bar. Gabriel turns his attention to the cop while the bar girl gets back to work. “If it isn’t the detective. What do you have for me?”. “I told you that Dracula will soon get his hands on Nightmare. He is going to get his hands on it next week. And I know where,” Warren says. Gabriel raises a brow as he receives this information. “Why are you telling me this? I hypnotized you last time. Why are you willing to help me freely now?”, Gabriel asks. “Because it dawned on me that you can do that anytime you want. And it is my job to monitor supernatural activities in New
John is astounded by what Samuel said. Since Gabriel turned him into a vampire, he has dwelled in a world different from the one normal humans know. And yet even he has never seen or heard about Nephilims. Like everyone else, he is familiar with their biblical history but he has never seen that as proof of their existence. “That means angels are real,” Elma says with a serious demeanor. “Of course, heaven, hell, God and his celestial agents are real” Samuel says. “Humans create a religion and yet they do not believe in it. How ironic,” Marcel comments. “Hold your emotions for later. Next week, we go to Central Park, Manhattan,” Gabriel says. “You, you and your people are going to watch Central Park. We need to know everything that goes down there. We have to be ahead of this situation,” Samuel says to Elena. “My name is Elena and you don’t tell me what to do,” she answers in anger. “If you are not going to be of any help, then you should just leave” Rachael says. Her eyes
