Chapter 64.

Carter POV.

The explosion was heard and felt here. I jumped up and ran towards the door. Lykos howls in my head as we push past people to get outside, and I see the billowing smoke in the distance. My eyes widen as I run towards Fenrir.

“Where is she? Where is Asteria?” I shout when he looks out over the water. No! I shake my head as I turn and run towards one of the trawlers.

“I need every available crew member now!” I shout as I run up the gangway on to the trawler. Men and woman run around, making the ship ready to head out.

“Captain, we need to head out now!” I say and he gives his orders when Fenrir and the rest pile up on to the bridge as the captain calls the coast guard for assistance before we head out against his orders.

We move as fast as the trawler will allow, but kill the engines not too far away. The smoke billows and I can hear the faint cries of the crew that are in the water.

“Help them out of the water.” I shout, and men and women start helping grab survivors from t
