Aarya

I giggled and yelled, “Stop, Xyler. It tickles.” He grumbled and continued to give me slobbery licks across my face. I tried to scoot away from his enthusiastic tongue, but the wet and soapy ground beneath us made my escape efforts rather comical. I was washing the mighty Alpha in our backyard while he gave me those adoring puppy eyes that never failed to make my heart melt.

I ran my hands over his soft fur my fingers working to work up a good lather of soap. He purred and wagged his tail, creating little splashes of water around us, making me smile.

“Does it feel good?” I questioned as I kissed his wet snout and scratched his ears.

‘Yes, mate. More,’ he crooned in our mind-link. I couldn’t help but chuckle as I continued to wash his silky fur.

It had been a challenging couple of days since my heart-to-heart with Xander. We’d bared our souls, sharing the weight of our pain and grief, and it had been both cathartic and healing. The ordeal of the past weeks had taken its toll on me

Xander We arrived in the room in record time. Steven has informed us that Lily is finally awake. So rather than kicking his ass for disturbing me and my mate, we are running with him towards the hospital room in the dungeon. We have tied Lily to the bed so she cannot leave. Not that she can. She could hardly hope to escape a pack of werewolves, but we didn’t want to waste our resources on her. She is in an underground dungeon. Heavy-duty metal construction and bulletproof heavy-grade glass are used to create the room where she is confined. It is designed to house high-risk captives. “What did the doctor say? She is stable enough to answer our questions?” Aarya asked. She appeared calm and collected, just like the Luna she was, but I could feel the storm building beneath her walls. Steven huffed, looking forward. “Dr. Heather is skeptical about Lily’s ability to respond. But we’ll figure something out. We need fucking answers. Once we get what we need from her, Lea will want some ti

AaryaPouting, I clutched my husband’s pillow in my arms. Sleep had proven elusive in his absence; I’d grown accustomed to his comforting presence and cuddles during the night. His pillow, however, was a pitiable substitute for the warmth of his hot and strong body against mine.I buried my face in his pillow, relishing his scent. A mere two hours had passed since Xander’s departure, but it felt like an eternity. His scent is the only thing calming my solemn mood. Obsessed? Perhaps. But it no longer bothered me; I had surrendered to this infatuation.I huffed and stood up, giving up on sleep. I don’t think his pillow and the sheets aren’t cutting it anymore. I want to drown in his scent.Stepping into our walk-in closet, I switched on the light and gravitated toward my husband’s clothes. A grin formed as my gaze landed on his shirt. I discarded my silk nightgown and changed into Xander’s shirt, bringing the sleeves up to my nose.Ahh... It’s like a drug! Do I seem a little weird right

Xander“I am a bit nervous,” Aarya bit her lip as I secured the mangalsutra (marriage string) around her neck. I kissed her nape, my fingers moving in soothing strokes up and down her arm.Observing her reflection in the mirror, I couldn’t help but smile. “You are already an amazing Luna. You will do great.”‘Alpha,’ Steven mind-link me. ‘Alpha Killian and Luna Marcy have arrived.’‘Escort them to the living room. Aarya and I will be there in a minute,’ I replied.A sigh escaped my lips as I surveyed the evidence we had collected, carefully tucking it into my pocket. The outcome of this meeting had the power to reshape our strategies against the elusive forces that attempting to harm us.We had recently unearthed a significant revelation concerning the man who had tried to abduct Aarya. To our astonishment, he was a human with supernatural blood coursing through his veins. Different types of blood were infused in him with powerful magic, which made it difficult to identify in initial t

AaryaThe main gate slammed shut, and I allowed myself to drift back into my slumber, my thoughts lingering on my wonderful husband. But my eyes snapped opened when I heard the door open again. I looked at the time and realized it had been over twenty minutes since Xander left. Who opened the door? Is Xander back?Although I tried to sniff for scents, I got nothing. My senses were far from as sharp as a werewolf’s. Yet, I could distinctly hear activity on the ground floor. My body instinctively shifted into high alert. A protective bubble came around me, isolating me from potential danger.I remembered Mr. Bates’s warning; someone was after me, and I needed to exercise caution. I tried to mind-link Xander, but he had a block up. Shit! What do I do?My heart jumped as I heard something drop, the sound echoing ominously in the silence. Was that my dinner plate? What should I do? Steven! Yes. I quickly mind-linked him. I heard some gruff noises in our link. Ugh!‘Steven,’ I shouted in our

XanderMrs. McAllister dropped to her knees the instant I released my Alpha command. She withered on the ground trying to fight the command. Her wolf, on the other hand, was fighting with her to obey her Alpha. I could have felt some sympathy for her because she was a member of my pack, but the image of Stella’s bruised face flashed in front of my eyes.Mrs. McAllister cried out, “Nooo... you bloody wolf... no... he... will... kill.”“I said NOW!” I thundered. She finally lost the battle to her wolf. Her brown eyes flashed, showing that her wolf was now in charge. She remained trembling on her knees in front of Aarya and me.“Alpha, Luna. Please forgive me. I tried to stop her, but she blocked me,” her wolf said. “I will tell you the truth.”“Speak! The people who kidnapped Luna and many others are still roaming free,” Steven snapped.“Yes, Beta,” the wolf bowed. “My human always wanted to be a Luna and when she couldn’t be one, she tried to groom our daughter. AaryaI plopped down on the bed. My body felt weary and achy, probably from the stress and the recent events. Is this normal? Urg! I miss Xander. I just returned from neutral territory, but I’m already ready to go and help them. But I knew I had responsibilities here in the pack, and I couldn’t risk leaving. Besides, my instincts told me that Xander was safe; I had to trust them.Walking into the packhouse, I decided to immerse myself in work. Waiting around for Xander was challenging, and I figured I could at least make productive use of my time. I smiled when I saw that my desk had been placed opposite Xander’s. Luna typically had her own office, but since I was still learning the ropes of managing the pack, I had asked to share an office with my mate temporarily.I walked to Xander’s desk, my fingers trailing the oak desk. Images of Xander sitting here, commanding and dominant, filled my mind. His muscles rippled as he wrote or moved, the subtle flexing of his Adam’s apple as he spo

XanderI sprint towards home with my mate in my arms. My body was trembling from the amount of self-control I was using to restrain the urge to pull her clothes off. My thoughts were muddled with lust and the immense need for my mate. Her breath was fanning my neck, trying to hide her face from onlookers. I chuckled at her innocence.I still cannot believe that we are going to have a child. I am going to be a father. The father of the child we thought we had lost.It is surreal to see how much a mother can unwittingly do to save her child. I promised myself that I would do my best to protect my world, which is currently in my arms.“We know you will protect us, baby,” Aarya’s beautiful voice assured me.“I will,” I said and hugged her tighter while she snuggled up to me.My mate giggled as I stumbled with the locks. I kicked the front door open because I could not wait any longer. Ah! Fucking finally! I don’t think I will survive till we reach the bedroom. The tent in my pants was fuck

AaryaI smiled as I gazed at the photo of my family. The image of happiness was captured in a single frame. Xander had carefully placed it among the collection of remarkable moments we had experienced. My parents were holding hands in the picture, their eyes filled with adoration as they looked at Amit, Atul, and me. It was taken on a relaxing family day right before I departed for America.A tear trickled down my cheek, and I gently traced the contours of their faces in the photo. “Maa, Baba, Aap nana, nani banne wale hai. Aur Bhai, aap log mama banne wale ho,” I whispered, feeling the weight of their absence. (Mother, father, you’re going to be grandpa and grandma. And brothers, you’re going to be uncles.)Fond memories of my family flooded my mind, and I chuckled sadly at the thought of their excitement had they been alive to share at this moment. “I hope I can be as excellent a parent as you were,” I whispered, seeking their blessings and strength for the journey ahead.I turned ar

Please share your thoughts and feedback in the comments section, and don’t forget to review and vote if you’ve liked the story. This book was my first ever work. I started this book first but MMH took priority so this book was pushed back. I learned a lot since MMH so I had to rewrite most of the chapters of TAM keeping the essence same. 6 months later... XANDER “Are you ready?” I asked. My voice was muffled and filled with desire as I showered Aarya’s neck with sloppy kisses. I couldn’t resist indulging in her addictive scent, and the sparks between us added a thrilling touch to our love. “Hmm... Xander... stop,” she managed to utter, though her voice sounded more like a moan. The hmm sound went straight to my dick, making me feel impossibly hard and eager. ‘I think we need to cancel the press conference and take our mate in this room,’ Xyler salivated, sniffing the alluring scent of her arousal in the air. “Do you really want me to stop?” I asked huskily, kissing behind her ear and biting carefully, making her shiver in my hold. I pulled her flush against me. “Hmm, no... I mean y... yes,” she whispered, caught between her pleasure and her work, as I licked my mark on her neck again. She shivered in my hold and a thrill rushed through my spine. “So responsive, so sweet, so addictive,” I whispered, kissing her c

AaryaI stood in the serene pack cemetery, a gentle breeze rustling the leaves of the surrounding trees. Little Om, dressed in his adorable baby boss onesie gifted by Scott, wiggled in my arms as I pointed to the plaques dedicated to my departed family members. “This is Nanu (maternal grandpa), Nani (maternal grandma), and both your Mamu (maternal uncles). And this is where your uncle Scott is,” I said softly, my voice filled with sorrow and warmth.I couldn’t resist kissing his chubby cheek as he reached for the flowers I had carefully placed on the plaque. Xander has dedicated a plaque for my family in the pack cemetery as a place to remember them. The sight of Om holding Scott’s gifted teddy bear, saying “Yass queen” in Scott’s voice whenever you bopped its nose, tugged at my heartstrings. These were some of the cherished things in Scott’s gift basket he had prepared for Om in his apartment.Gently, I set Om down on a soft blanket and handed him his favorite teddy. With a bitterswee

XanderThe sight that greeted me that day was both heart-wrenching and awe-inspiring. Fallen warriors lay motionless, their sacrifices etched in the annals of our pack’s history. The battlefield was strewn with bodies, a poignant reminder of the price of war.My heart weighed heavy with sorrow for the loss of around 40 brave wolves from my pack and over 400 lives from our side. We honored not just our fallen pack members but also those from other packs who fought alongside us, standing against the enemy. With a heavy heart, I walked among the wounded, offering words of encouragement and support to those who were still fighting for their lives. Our skilled healers, guided by Dr. Heather’s expertise, worked tirelessly to tend to the injured, ensuring they received the care they needed.Steven and Harry were directing the recovery efforts with efficiency. They coordinated the pack members to rebuild what was damaged. It was essential to resurrect our pack lines with the help of a witch. T

XanderMy paws pounded the forest floor as I raced toward my pack, the pungent scent of battle filling my lungs long before the chaos came into view. The forest resounded with the clashing of metal and the fierce roars of werewolves, a tumultuous scene that unfolded before me like a vivid painting of desperation and mayhem.I shifted to my wolf as soon as I saw my pack line, knowing I could reach my pack faster on four legs. As I approached our pack, I could see the devastation left in the wake of the enemy’s assault. Bodies lay strewn across the forest floor, and the metallic scent of blood mingled with the earthy smell of the forest. My heart pounded in my chest as I mind-linked my mate, Aarya. Our bond tugged at me, pulling me inexorably toward her. The overpowering need to hear her voice, to ensure her safety, consumed me. Through our bond, I could feel every blow she took, every painful cut and bruise she endured in the fight. It only fueled my determination to reach her side.Ale

Aarya (contd)My heart pounded in my chest as I witnessed the awe-inspiring sight of a massive... dragon soaring majestically through the sky. Its immense size and power were overwhelming, its scales glistening like polished obsidian in the afternoon sunlight. Its eyes burned with a fierce intensity that pierced through the chaos on the ground below. The sight left me breathless, struggling to comprehend the reality of what I was seeing.“Is that a fucking dragon?” Kat exclaimed, her mouth agape in shock. I shared her disbelief; the sight of actual dragons was something I never thought I’d witness.“Luna, watch out to your left!” Steven’s urgent warning came too late, as a rogue slashed my arm with his claws, causing a deep, painful cut. Gritting my teeth, I hissed at the pain, feeling the warm blood seeping from the wound. My Baba would have kicked me from heaven, seeing me getting distracted in the middle of an intense battle. Without hesitation, I summoned my magical energy and dire

Aarya“You will tell me if you need anything, right?” I asked Beta Nancy as I glanced at the papers in my hand.“Yes, Luna Aarya. Thank you so much. I appreciate you looking out for me,” Beta Nancy replied, her voice filled with gratitude. Assuring her that she could count on my support if needed, I bid her goodbye.Sighing, I leaned back in the chair. I was in my and Xander’s office, trying to complete all the work before he returned. I had finished calling almost all council members to inform them of the situation. Xander had been away for over three hours too far to mind-link. Even though he had texted to let me know he was fine, my heart still felt heavy with worry. When Om began to cry, I snapped out of my thoughts and swiftly picked him up from his crib. “Hey, baby, shhh. It’s okay. Maa is here. Are you hungry? Huh?” I cooed. His lips still trembled, but his cries stopped clinging to me. I sat down on the sofa, locked the door with the remote control, and nursed him. As he latche

Xander“Alpha Evan,” I nodded at the man as we sat in my office at the packhouse.Harry and Cam informed me that Alpha Evans was waiting at our border for my permission to enter. He claimed to have found Chris and his gang of Mate Kidnappers, and the urgency in his voice prompted me to grant him immediate permission to enter our territory. With Alex, Sean, Steven, Aarya, and me gathered in my office, we awaited Alpha Evans’s revelation. Lea stayed behind to wrap up the ongoing celebration, while my parents cared for our son, Om. Everyone seemed tired yet alert, eager to hear the details of Alpha Evans’s discovery, but I could sense an underlying tension in the room.As Alpha Evans settled into the seat, his Beta stood stoically behind him, his expression unreadable. Steven and Harry stood behind me, ready to protect and support. Aarya, Alex, and Sean sat on the sofa, and Cam remained outside the packhouse to ensure our security. We were all anxious to know if Alpha Evans was telling th

Aarya“Shh, Om,” I whispered, my heart swelling with affection as I gazed at my little excited baby boy. “If you keep clapping so loudly, everyone will know about the party.”“Aaaaaa,” he babbled, trying to reach for the sparkling lights hanging from the fence. His attempts to catch the shimmering lights were adorable. However, he soon huffed in frustration and rolled over onto his tummy, determined to get closer to the fascinating lights. I couldn’t help but chuckle at his determination.Amid our playful moment, the door opened, and familiar voices filled the backyard. “Where are you, my chubby cheeks? Your favorite uncle is here!” called Alex, his voice full of excitement.“You are not his favorite. I am his favorite. Isn’t it right, my little cutie?” Sean cooed as he followed Alex into the backyard.“Are not!” Alex made a face at Sean.“Are to!” Sean snapped. Here we go again!
