After finishing his cigarette, the new lock arrived.

One of the property managers took it upstairs.

In his car, Quentin's lips curled into a satisfied smile.

The two property managers knocked on Noelle's door, and after checking through the peephole to confirm their identity, she opened the door.

They quickly removed the old lock and unpacked the new one.

"This is the latest smart lock. If anyone comes near, you'll get an alert on your phone! It's part of the company's promotion, so it's free. You're in luck!"

Noelle picked up the box and examined it. The description made it sound pretty advanced.

Once the new lock was installed, Noelle registered the system on her phone and tested it out. Sure enough, when someone got close to the door, her phone chimed with an alert.
