Mark was caught off guard, and his expression changed slightly. Quentin returned carrying the thermos, with Janet, Yvette, and the rest of his family following closely behind.

When Monica saw Noelle, she scowled. "Why are you still clinging to the title of the Lowe family's eldest granddaughter-in-law after your divorce?"

Chance shifted uncomfortably and shot her a look, whispering, "Mom, please watch what you say!" Monica snorted disdainfully.

"We're still married!" Quentin exclaimed as he automatically positioned himself next to Noelle. He tried to hold her hand, but she pulled away.

"We'll be getting a divorce tomorrow!" she stated flatly.

Everyone in the room was stunned.

"What's the meaning of this, Quentin? Explain yourself!" Janet demanded. She felt like she'd been played for a fool and was so angry that she wanted to strangle her son to get the truth out of him.

Quentin responded calmly, "The divorce certificate is fake. There's all there is to it."
