Chapter 347

When Quentin arrived at Neon Nights, Zion and Dennis were already in the private room.

Zion was a tall, slender man who wore gold-rimmed glasses. His skin was very pale, most likely a result of his extensive time in the lab, and he had a scholarly air. As soon as he saw Quentin, he asked, "So, you've really gotten a divorce?"

"Yep," Quentin answered, plopping down on the couch. He lit a cigarette, leaned back in his seat, and crossed his legs, looking lost in thought.

Zion chuckled. "Does this have anything to do with what I said?"

The other day, Quentin had called him, asking him what to do about Noelle's condition. He had told him to do whatever she wanted. He hadn't expected him to go through with it. He'd said it in jest that day, but now that they were actually divorced, Zion felt guilty.

"No way." Quentin sat up from the couch, suddenly full of energy. He flicked the ash off his cigarette into the ashtray. Zion and Dennis looked at him, puzzled.
