Noelle almost crashed into Quentin's arms when she turned around. "Quentin?" she gasped. The dim light made it hard to see his face clearly, but he was noticeably thin.

"Please don't leave me, Elle." He wrapped his arms around her like a helpless child who'd been abandoned by his parents. "I can't imagine what life would be like without you, Elle, so don't leave me!"
