Quentin responded, "But if I don't follow you, I'm afraid you'll run away." After leaving the restaurant, he didn't go anywhere. He just sat in his car, smoking, and reflecting on how much of a jerk he had been in the past. He also thought about how he could win her back in the future.

Then, he noticed Noelle walking out of the restaurant and couldn't help but follow her. He was afraid that if he let her out of his sight, she'd slip through his fingers like sand and no longer belong to him.

Noelle was at a loss for words. "I'm going to a law firm to consult about our divorce, Mr. Lowe!"

Quentin frowned. "Then, I'll join you and listen to what the lawyer has to say."

Exasperated, she turned around, hailed a cab, and got in. But shortly after the cab pulled away, she noticed his car slowly following behind. Noelle felt even more exasperated.

When she arrived at Jarvis & Co. Advocates, Noelle got out of the cab and walked inside. To her surprise, Quentin followed her into the firm.
