She shoke her head no, but her Grandma Felicia who was occupied looking for something inside her purse, did not look up to meet her eyes.

"Great. I have where I'm headed to. Don't let the boys walk around the house in their muddy sports shoes, when they return back from the field." Turning to Luke, the eldest boy at her side, she said. "Now come along young man, we don't have much time to kill."

The boy scowled.

"There's some beef in the freezer, as well. So you won't spend much money." The old woman slapped some piece of naira notes into the girl's hand.
