Chapter 15

"You!" She sneered coming at me. Oh god, what was I going to do? She was going to kill me.

But why?

I have no idea. 'I saw the way you were looking at that female assistance of yours, don't tell me you like her!' Yeah, I think I know. She thinks Xavier likes me.

She stopped when she saw my name tag. It was Layla Hayden.

But that didn't stop her from giving a death glare. I looked down. I hope she wouldn't fire me. If she does...

She turned to a man in the suit. "For how long has she been working here?" She asked him.

"She has been here two years now ma'am."

"Two... Years?" She asked unbelievably.

"Yes ma'am."

"Is she active at work?" She asked.

"Yes ma'am. She even won best flight attendant of the year." He pointed to something on my dress.

I looked down at it. It was a beautiful badge. I didn't notice that till now.

"And perhaps, is there any chance that she might have a twin sister?"

I froze.

"I'm not sure ma'am, her record shows no family member."

Everybody's heads in the room were bowed. They all seem to be scared of her. And I'm not surprised.

She looked at my name tag again. She has already known I was a twin. No doubt.

"So... Layla Hayden. Is there any way I could contact your twin?"  She asked.

See guys? She knows already! But I have to still play Layla.

"N-no, ma'am. I haven't heard from her for a long time now."

She nodded to a chair for me to sit. I walked to it and sat down.

"Shall we begin?" She asked and everyone said 'yes ma'am' there were all types of flight attendants here. They wore different types of uniforms. I was the only one wearing my type. And it seems to be the most expensive one.

Throughout the meeting, I could feel her eyes on me. Did she doubt I was Layla?

But she seems not to have metal before. Everyone was walking out, I followed behind them slowly.

"I want you to research her twin. Make sure to get her number. That little whore would come when she sees her long-lost twin... Get her."

They were going to get me, to lure lily here! Okay, I was Lily. But if I hadn't seen Layla and someone called me and show me pictures of her, I'd come and look for her.

What should I do? I dashed out, I have to get out of here! This place was so big. Soon I reached where was where I looked back to see men in suits. They were no doubt after me.

"Look!" I pointed at a place at their back, their heads snapped to it. I took the chance and hid.

Oh god! They were out to get me! If only I had come earlier I would have met with that James guy and I'd be out of here.

I felt someone snaked his arm around my waist bringing me to their chest. I tried struggling. But whoever this person is, he was strong.

He brought out a white handkerchief, he was going to make me sleep! He pressed it on my face.

I noticed the other guys before blacking out.

Paisley POV:

I smirked at the unconscious lady tied to a chair in front of me. I just need to lure her sister, Lily here. Then I'd kill them both.

"This is her number ma'am," Zedd said. "Call her." Once she is dead, she won't be a threat to me. Then I would have Xavier all to myself.

A phone ringing brought me out of my thoughts. "Are you calling her sister?" I questioned.

"Yes, but it's ringing here."

What the fu*k?!

"So... It is Lily, shoot her." I sneered. She tricked me. Nobody ever tricks me!

My phone suddenly rang. It was Jack. I raised my hand signaling them to hold on.

I had always told Jack about my predicament with Xavier, but he never paid any attention to it. So he doesn't know Xavier.

I told him about the girl coming in between our relationship, before she came in Xavier was at least talking to me.

That witch!

"I got her," I said with a smile on my face.

"Who?" He asked sounding bored.

"Lily!" I giggled. "I'm going to kill her now." The thought of her death made me feel at peace. I giggled again.

"Lily?" He asked.

"Lily Hayden."

Third Person's POV:

After Paisley had told Jack the girl he was going to kill was Lily Hayden, he had asked her not to kill her until he was there.

"She is your ex?!" She asked exaggeratedly.

He walked over to where she was tied down. Her skin was already red from the tightness of the rope.

"Lose her now." He untied her, carrying her small frame.

"Where are you going to, Jack." She spat. But he ignored her. Taking her to his car.

She knew she can't do anything to him, he had so much more influence and power than her.

Jack took Lily to his house. He had one of his female maids clean her up. He was in his house office thinking of her. He wanted her to be his again.

He was going to use this opportunity to get her and wasn't going to let her go.

But he knew she had feelings for that Xavier guy. He hated Xavier. He was jealous the woman he loves had feelings for him.

His phone rang, he took it from the table looking at the caller. It was Paisley.

He hesitated before answering it.

"Let's meet at a 5-star hotel." With that, the line went off.

Jack and Paisley were in a five-star hotel as planned. "It seems like we're in the same category here, Jack. I love Xavier and you love Lily and there's no doubt they probably love each other. Try and make Lily stay away from Xavier and I would do the same with Xavier."

Lily's POV:

I was floating in the skies, the bed I was in was so soft and it has my favorite flavor.

I slowly opened my eyes it was blurry at first, but it got clearer.

My eyes widened at who I saw next to me.

Jack.

"Ah, you're awake. Good morning."
