Erina noticed how Arden loosened the tie of his fancy coat and took it off, leaving the white dress shirt as he unbuttoned each of the buttons, showing the skin of his chest, making him extremely hot with his disheveled hair as he lazily rested his hand on the open window of the carriage.

His eyes wandered outside as he looked at the woods, even though his mind remained on the scene he saw earlier.

His jaw clenched when he realized that he couldn’t stop thinking about it. To see Erina smiling at someone else creates a hollow feeling in his stomach, making his brows furrow.

Erina can feel the tension between them even though Arden remains silent. He can sense that something is making him angry because she saw how many times his jaw clenched, his expression darkened, and he looked so mad.

He’s probably worried for his mother. Knowing that Mrs. Gunner collapsed, he’s probably thinking about vengeance to punish the people behind his mother’s incident.
