You Are Missing A big Diamond Ring!

After Maverick left. Or rather after I pushed him out, I sat down on the bed blushing. He was so shameless and I can't believe he actually said those things to me.

I smiled to myself as I remembered the words once more. What would actually happen tomorrow after the ceremony? Was he truly going to do all that he just told me?

There was a knock on the door and two maids entered again alongside the fashionista. Somehow, I could see her smiling faintly. I hope she didn't hear any of the things Maverick told me, it would be so embarrassing.

"My Lady, we need to take the wedding gown for the finishing touches. There would be maids to give you a full body massage later so you could have a good rest ahead of tomorrow. We don't want a tired-looking bride, do we?" She said, still smiling.

I forced out a smile at her as I let the maids undress me. I loved the gown and I was sure it would cost more than a fortune.

"You designed it?" I asked, admiring the glittering designs on the go
