"MOM wants to spend some time with Marsha. Two days at most at their house. Would that be okay with you?"

Ethan’s words echoed through her head a thousand times, giving her an unwanted feeling on the inside. She stopped washing the dishes in the sink and turned to her husband, who was all ready to go to work, wearing dark blue business attire and a concerned look on his face. The man looked very domineering—a perfect CEO who could be entrancing most of the time.
