Chapter 31 - Blade

I was in my chamber reading the book I had picked out earlier from my study. The whole manor had become eerily silent but I paid it no mind. The forest surrounding the manor was pretty big which connected to some of the small werewolves pack.

Halfway through reading the book, I felt someone trying to reach me through the mind-link. I kept the book aside and started to focus on who it was that was contacting me. Their tries stopped and I was left with no clue as to who it was.

The wait wasn't long as I felt it again but this time I could feel a block in the link. I focused on trying to let the person in and soon enough, Flora's voice came through. "I need help!" she screamed in distress and the link cut off. Coming back to my senses, I got up from my desk and ran out of my room; rushing to get to Flora.

The door to Flora's bedroom slammed against the wall behind as I barged inside. What I saw in the room temporarily scared me and alerted my senses. But the figure disappeared before I co
