I accept

But she could not let that happen; let James die when she can do something to prevent that from happening. And she would have to sleep with Xavier to achieve it.

The notion of sex with Xavier- the thought alone made her heart race. He was an attractive man; sex with him would not be so bad. Moreover, men of his status get tired of women quickly. Surely he will get tired of her soon; this was not going to last for long.

"I accept." Her voice was low, barely a whisper, but she knew he had heard her; he was a werewolf after all.

She could see that arrogant smirk on his face, as if he already knew that she was going to say yes.

Fuck. How was she going to do it? How was she going to meet up with his expectations? Satisfy him. She had never been with a werewolf before and had no idea what he liked.

She decided to come clean because she did not want him to think that she played him.

"Xavier, I just want to put it out there by saying that I am n-not," her voice cracked before she could complete her sentence.

"I am not particularly experienced in this kind of thing, and I would not want to disappoint you, which will lead you backing out of the deal and not help James." She finally said, shutting her eyes.

He stared at her, his face blank. He stepped back from her and walked back to his desk, taking a seat before facing her.

His actions made her restless; she had to fight the urge to ask him if he had changed his mind.

"How about this? I will deal with James issues today. Is that reassuring enough? However, I can have you here right now, and you will not be able to stop me, will you?" He asked, placing his hands on the desk and staring into her eyes.

She felt his gaze drop to her lips before flicking back to her face.

She knew what he said was true; if he did what he just said, she would not be able to stop him, and that scared her.

Scared not because she felt that he would hurt her, no. She was scared because she wanted to feel his body press up against her curvaceous, the sweet sensation of his breath on her neck when he leans against her to whisper something in her ear.

Taking a deep breath, she pushed off the office door where he had so shamelessly pressed her against and moved to the desk.

If he wanted, he could have just had her right here in his office, and once he is done, throw her out without helping her.

"I know you could, but you would not." She said, her voice low barely over a whisper. Her confidence was not as fierce as when she was talking with the receptionist earlier on.

"You are a man of your words, Xavier, and you would not fuck up a deal like that."

He was out of his seat before she could blink and stood before her. Her breath caught from the sudden movement; she took a step back, but that did not stop him; he followed her.

He caught her jaw, tilting her face up until their eyes locked. She could see the desire in his eyes; his face moved closer to her, and she copied his movement.

He smiled when he saw what she did and took a step back; his face went back to being blank.

"I would not, no. Come with me.
