"What are you doing?!”

The lady looked startled, “I'm getting him ready for his bath.”

My frown deepened, she didn't see anything wrong in what she just said. My gaze drifted to my savior's face. His lips were curled, he seemed to be enjoying this.

“Oh, carry on.” I went to sit on a couch, pretending not to care, but the more I saw what was going on, the more my intestine burned.

Why do I care that a maid was doing her job?

No! I screamed internally when she started to unbuckle his belt. His gaze was still on me, this time, his brow was lifted. I gritted my teeth and remained sitting.

But just as his trousers were about to be undone, I bolted up. “Leave, I'll finish the rest.”

The maid was surprised, probably thinking what my status was to order her around but she didn't move from her spot, making my forehead crease.

Would I be here, beside her boss if I were a random stray? Can't she think with her head?

“You didn't seem to hear me. I said, take your claws off my man!” my wor

Rena’s POV. I woke up at dawn to find myself alone on the big bed. Remembering what happened last night, I didn't know if I should be angry. I waited and waited for him to come out of the bathroom but he didn't. And in the end, I fell asleep. Remembering we had somewhere to be today, I got down from bed to take my bath. Coming out shortly, I found him sitting on the couch. I froze, my eyes fixed on him as he stared blankly at me, his expression unreadable. He was dressed in a black shirt and black pants… he's never worn anything other than that. The passionate scene from last night crashed into me, and I felt my cheeks burning pink. "Good morning," I said, trying to sound casual, but my voice came out a little too soft than I intended. He didn't reply. Instead, he rose from his seat and walked up to me. My chest drummed harder with every step he took. “My morning isn't good, Rena.” My heart dropped. Was he hurt? Damn me! I didn't even check on him last night. He used

His words were like a key, unlocking a deep desire within me. I felt my body respond, my heart racing with anticipation. "I won't stop you, Zaddy," I whispered, my fingers dipping into his collar, feeling his skin. “But I don't want you feeling violated and used,” he informed and was about to pull away when I wrapped my arms around his waist, stopping him. “I won't feel that way, Zaddy. I consent to it. I'm clear headed.” I pressed. I didn't want him to leave me in this mess. Last night he left me frustrated and hungry until I managed to fall asleep. If he does it again, my whole day would be ruined. “But I don't want you feeling violated and used,” he informed and was about to pull away when I wrapped my arms around his waist, stopping him. “I won't feel that way, Zaddy. Rena’s POV. I gasped, my eyes fixed on his retreating back, my mind reeling from the sudden display of dominance. The way he said "I'm your Zaddy, not your daddy" sent a shiver down my spine, leaving me breathless and wanting more. I stood there, frozen in place, as I watched him disappear through the door, my heart pounding in my chest.“I'll wait for you downstairs.” His deep voice drifted over, jolting me back to reality. “Wow,” I exhaled, “Rena, you're in for some serious shit.” I told myself and turned to start applying lotion, only to remember he swept everything to the floor. I sighed and began to pick them all up. They were all mine. Though I didn't know when he bought them, I was sure they were mine. Funny enough, they were Dior and Chanel brands, exactly for my skin type. I wondered how he knew my skin tone. Did he bring over a beautician while I was asleep? There were so many of them that I just stared speechlessly at everything for a while, until I felt some sticky s

Kaan’s POVSeeing her crying stirred a weird feeling inside me. I wanted to do everything for her, but I couldn't give her what she wanted. Soni was already going through enough punishment. The fight from last night, she was badly injured but that didn't make me change my mind regarding her task. She's repeatedly apologized, but I didn't soften up, because her apologies weren't enough to undo the damage she's done to the woman I wanted. I pulled her closer to comfort her, but she tried to pull away a moment after she melted into me. I knew she was angry at me again, and she must be thinking I let Soni get away with it. “Don't stress me, Rena. Behave,” I said and she looked up at me through those teary wide eyes, then she pouted. She looked cute, like a baby when she does that. It lifted the burden on my chest. Whatever wild thought runs through her mind sometimes? My phone rang. She wanted to pull away but I held her in place with one hand and answered the call with my free hand

Rena’s POV. “Mom?” The house was quiet. Too quiet that I could hear my own ragged breath. “Bianca!” My voice cracked. I was hoping against hope that she would answer, that she would walk out of one of the rooms with a warm smile on her face. But deep down, I knew it was futile. She was dead and her body was stolen. I slowly walked into her room and stood before her bed, my blurry eyes scanning the place. My savior told me he'd find her for me. I believed he could, but why was I still acting so foolishly? My chest arched more when I saw the photo hanging on the wall. It was my graduation. She glowed with happiness as she hugged and kissed my cheek. I swallowed and strode mindlessly to the photo. I touched it, my trembling fingers tracing the outline of the side of her face. Memories of happy days flooded my mind. How we ran around this small apartment, the sound of her laughter, the smell of her cooking wafting from the kitchen, the way she'd sing silly songs while we danced a

Kaan’s POV. After she fell asleep, I laid there for a long time, listening to her gentle breathing and feeling her warmth against my side. I couldn't help but think about how fragile she seemed, how vulnerable. And yet, at the same time, she had a strength and resilience that I admired. I gently stroked her hair, feeling a sense of protectiveness wash over me. I would do anything to keep her safe, to make sure she never had to go through anything like this again. My phone rang and I got out of bed to take it. Standing at the balcony, watching the night city, I spoke, “Speak.”“Boss, we found the doctor.” “I'll be there shortly,” I ...replied and ended the call. I grabbed my shoes and slipped them on. As I turned to leave, my gaze lingered on Rena for a long while, unwilling to leave her alone. But I knew I had to go, to uncover the truth and make sure she was safe from harm. I could see there was more to this fiasco than met the eye. At the hospital, the doctor was said to have

Kaan’s POV. She was the number one assassin, Soni's rival, and childhood friend. She clicked her tongue and rolled her eyes. “Whatever, lazy bum.” “You–” Black Cat's face turned red. He hated it when she called him that. He wasn't literally lazy, but she claimed he's lazy in bed. Their banter was always fun to watch, but I wasn't here for that. “Wake him up,” I ordered. The tone of my voice was enough to tell them I wasn't here for the jokes. Black cat woke the doctor up, only for him to start kowtowing. “Please, forgive me, Mr. Kaan! Please forgive me for my transgressions!" The doctor's voice was trembling with fear as he begged for mercy, his forehead pressed to the floor. I watched him with a detached interest, my expression unreadable. Black Cat stood over him, his murderous eyes fixed intently on the doctor's prone form. Raven, meanwhile, leaned against one of her colleagues, a look of bored amusement on her face. "Please, Mr. Kaan," the doctor continued to beg, "I'll

  • Snatched By The Don: My Enemy's Father    Why do you hold back?

Rena’s POV. I was shocked when he told me he killed Mark. Why would he do that? But on second thought, he wasn't a mad man. He wouldn't just kill him unless Mark did something wrong. I didn't know how right I was, but decided to give him the benefit of the doubt. “Did he do something wrong?” I asked, and he stared at me for a long time, as if he didn't expect me to react calmly to the news. “He called me a coward,” he replied. What?! That was the reason? He KILLED A HUMAN BEING BECAUSE THEY INSULTED HIM? Wow! And this man he killed so willfully was someone who was important to finding Bianca! I didn't know how to react. I was pissed. How could he? “He was important to finding my mom!” I said through gritted teeth. “I fished out what he knew.” He said and nonchalantly grabbed his phone to play me Mark's voice recording. After hearing that Bianca didn't have a relapse, but did that only so I'd go find my ex-boss, I felt betrayed and disappointed. Why does she always hurt me?

Ever since, my dad had been distant, even ignoring me and giving my work to others. I was scared that things would never become as it was before Rena came into our lives. I was angry, bitter, and hated Rena even more, believing she was influencing my dad's decisions and wanting to take him away from me, like she promised. But then, I remembered that my dad wasn't one to be influenced, so I tried taking a step back. Perhaps, my dad would like me again if I patched things with Rena. But even when I took Rena on a dangerous ride, when we encountered those low-life assassins, my dad didn't come to see me. I felt hurt, desperate for his attention, and angry. That was when butler Marco approached me, wanting me to betray my dad. But how could I betray my own father, the man sat and watched my infant head, while I slept on my cradle bed? The man who had sleepless nights when pain and sickness made me cry? The man who had taken more bullets than I could count, just to provide a better

Soni ~ “She's lost a lot of blood and needs a transfusion as soon as possible, but the hospital has run out of blood. We need –""What's her blood type?" I asked, my voice firm and urgent. The doctor hesitated for a moment before responding, "She's AB negative, one of the rarest blood types." “I am AB negative,” I offered. Our Ferrente hospital had an abundance of AB negative blood types, but I couldn't take Rena to the estate hospital. Not when the enemies were rooted in our family, and wanted her dead. The doctor was related. However, his joy was cut short when he noticed that I had also lost a lot of blood from the cut on the side of my stomach. "We can't take blood from you, you're already critically low." He turned to a nurse, “Make urgent calls to see if anyone in the hospital has the same–” I grabbed the doctor's arm, my eyes flashing with coldness, “I said take my blood. If anything happens to her, your life won't be enough to pay for it." The doctor's eyes widened, an

A hint of a smile played on Soni's lips as she said, “You played your part perfectly, Cousin. Thanks to you, we finally located their hideout.” Exhaustion and fear had rendered me speechless, but my mind was racing with a thousand unanswered questions. I wanted to know what Soni was talking about. Didn't she betray her father? How did she enter here, and my captors, what happened to them? What about Bianca and Luca? Too many questions, but my parched throat and weary brain couldn't seem to formulate the words.“Let's go home,” Soni said softly, wrapping a supportive arm around my waist, with one of my arms over her shoulder, as she guided me out of the dank, darkness of the dungeon. As we navigated the corridors, she moved with deadly precision, silently taking down the scattered guards who crossed our path, her movements a testament to her skill and training. As we emerged from the dungeon, I was stunned to see a cluster of familiar faces waiting for us. Pain. My mind registered an excruciating pain shooting through my entire body. An involuntary groan escaped my lips as I arched my back, my muscles tensing in response to the agony. Trying to open my eyes, the world around me blurred, fading into a dull haze as the pain consumed me. I felt like I was being torn apart from the inside out, my very cells screaming in protest. A faint, desperate thought echoed through my mind and my lips moved; “Make it stop...please, make it stop…” I mouthed, barely registering my own voice. “Boss, she's awake.” “She's finally awake? Why is she so slow? I've been waiting for hours. Help her hasten it." ‘Splash!’Cold, icy water hit me like a slap in the face, shocking me out of the haze. I gasped, my eyes flying open as I struggled against the chains binding me to the wall. The pain still lingered, but it was no longer the all-consuming force it had been moments before. I blinked rapidly, trying to clear the fog from my vision. A blurry figure st

Bianca's voice cut through the air, "Rena, you may leave now."I stared at her, bewildered. What did she mean? Was I being dismissed, cast aside like a used pawn, now that they'd gotten what they wanted?I narrowed my eyes, a spark of defiance igniting within me. "Why should I leave?" I retorted, my glare locked on Bianca's.But she held my gaze, her eyes flashing with a sharp, malicious glint, her expression a masterful blend of sweetness and venom. Oh, wow, she'd finally dropped the facade, I thought, a wry smile twisting my lips. Finally, the real Bianca had emerged from behind the mask of sweetness and innocence. "Don't force me to throw you out, Rena," Bianca's voice dripped with malice, her threat hanging over my head.My eyes flashed with anger as I turned to Luca, my gaze piercing. "So, I've been used?" I asked, my voice low and even, but laced with a hint of betrayal.Luca casually shrugged. "That's not exactly how I'd put it," he said, his tone neutral, but his eyes dartin

I had reservations about this plan from the start. A nagging feeling told me something was off, but I wouldn't uncover the truth by staying behind. Still, nothing could have prepared me for the shock that awaited me at the coffee shop. As I entered the VIP area, I was met with a room full of familiar faces - Luca, Bianca, Butler Marco, and Alessia, all gathered in one place. But it was Soni's presence that caught me most off guard. She lounged in her chair, exuding an air of nonchalant superiority, her arm draped lazily over the backrest as she gazed at me with a smirk. My eyes widened in shock, threatening to pop out of their sockets. Didn't Demir assure me that Soni would never betray him? A pang of sorrow struck my heart as I thought of my husband's unwavering trust in his daughter. He had confided in her, relied on her, and yet… "Welcome, Rena, we've been waiting for you," he said, his tone implying that I was a long-overdue guest at a party I never wanted to attend.

The meeting with Professor Orhan had left me reeling in shock and wonder. The scarf, it turned out, held a secret map, intricately sewn along its edges rather than prominently displayed in the center. At Demir's request, the professor carefully transcribed the map onto a piece of paper, which was then handed to me. As for the pendant which I originally thought was a family heirloom, was cracked open to reveal a folded paper, yellow with age and adorned with intricate shorthand writing. Much to my surprise. The professor translated the message, which not only hinted at the betrayal from Bianca's family, but also at my Yaman family's good relations with Kaan of the Ferrente family. The box holding the pendant also held its own secrets. After the first skin was peeled off, it revealed a letter written in shorthand. It was a message for me. My father had told me to seek out Kaan of the Ferrente family, and give him the scarf and pendant, claiming Kaan knew what to do. Now it dawned

  • Snatched By The Don: My Enemy's Father    Secret Of The Scarf

When we got to the villa, I hurried into my room to look at the shemagh. Luca said there was a map on it. I found the knitted scarf among my designer scarves in my walk-in-closet. It hung oddly, looking different and out of place. Taking it out, I held it up to take a proper look at it. All I saw was a black and blue knitting in the middle. There was no map or any other visible markings that looked like a direction. I turned it over, studying it carefully, but there was nothing. Just as I was about to give up, I heard footsteps. It must be Demir's. With that, I took the scarf along as I walked back into the bedroom. The moment I stepped into the room, our eyes locked and he strode over and yanked me into a fight hug. “I heard what happened at the mall,” he said. I was stunned, “So soon? Was it Soni?” Who else would tell him if not Soni? It hasn't been long since we were attacked.“This is my territory, Little one.” He pulled away, staring into my eyes, “Soni doesn't need to tell

My eyes widened in shock as I spun back around to face Soni, my mind racing with questions. But before I could ask any of them, Soni grabbed my arm and pulled me towards her car. Opening the door, she pushed me in and bent over, opening the compartments in haste, “Don't open the door unless I say so.” Her stern voice suddenly rang as she pulled out two silver guns. “Are we under an attack?” my mind was racing with worst-case scenarios as I slid into the passenger seat, my heart pounding in my chest. Scenes from what happened in Turkey clouded my mind and I subconsciously gripped Soni's elbow. “Let's run.”She halted her movement and locked eyes with me, the corner of her lips raising ever so slightly, “I don't know how to run.” With that, she snatched her elbow from me and checked the guns. Seeing they were loaded, she cracked them and straightened her back. “Don't open the door no matter what,” she repeated before running towards the fleet of cars packed in the garage. I watched i
