Chapter 108: After 6 years

“Atticus!” My father screamed at the top of his lungs; his veins almost popped out as Atticus continued running away from me while laughing at him. His tone was filled with distress, but he patiently stopped until Atticus stopped running.

“You little brat! I told you to stop running or else you would slip again.” He scolded, which made Atticus cross his arms over his chest with amusement, as if my father were only playing with him.

I heard Luna giggle, watching how my father frowned at his grandson, who was provoking him to get mad. She winked at me and raised her hand as she attempted to cover her mouth.

“Atticus is jolly. He's different than Kairo,” she commented.

I didn't say anything because she was right. Atticus was cheerful and possessed my hair colour, whereas Kairo was dissimilar. If Atticus liked teasing, Kairo was the silent type. My eyes glanced at him, and I noticed he was reading some of his books again.

“See? Kairo has a vibe who likes to kill.” Luna added.
