80. Palace Has Been Invaded

When Abel and I arrived at the pack, it was cold. And quiet. I knew immediately that something had gone wrong.

We immediately made our way to The Palace. We saw that some new guards were guarding the palace gate.

Abel and I stood a distance away as we watched.

"Do you think......"

"Yes. The Palace has been invaded," I said with a dark look on my face.

"How could he get into the palace in such a short time? He...."

"Someone was helping him. Or maybe it wasn't just one person. We have to get into the palace if we want to find out what's going on!" I said.

"Do you see those people at the gates? Those are not our guards. Do you think they'll let us in?" Abel asked me.

I rolled my eyes. "Who said that we have to go through them?" I asked him.

An hour later, Abel and I had finally made it into the palace by scaling through the fence.

We immediately went to the meeting room, hoping to find an Elder who could tell us what was happening.
