He looked hurt, and I felt terrible. I didn't mean to hurt his feelings at all. I just wanted to help him and Lydia out.

"I don't...I was not thinking about that at all. And I don't think you are bothering me. I should not have said anything. I want you to be happy" I said.

Kern shook his head. "Did I make you feel like I was unhappy? I am not unhappy. I am happy the way I am. I am attending school with my friend, and even though Lydia talks too much, she is cool, and I don't mind having her as a friend. You don't need to set me up with her just because you think we are going to make a good couple or because you want to get rid of me
