"Lydia.... that's enough!" I said to her.

"No, I am just saying what's on my mind! You know, I really envy you! I wish I were you, then I'd be Kern's type at least right?" She asked me.

I frowned when I heard this. I knew that Lydia was probably using the excuse of being drunk to say what was on her mind. But she had only known Kern for a few days. How could she fall for him?

I got up and tried to hold Lydia's arm, but she moved it away.
