"Funny enough, I'm not here to smile with you and I won't be distracted by that." I scoffed.

He looked at me in a puzzled expression. "What do you mean?" He sounded like he had just experienced the shock of his life.

"Don't play jokes with me. Firstly, who agreed on letting you stay here? We never even had a conversation that you'll stay at the palace for a week. Secondly, why did you suggest that?"

His lips formed a fake smile. "Don't you think the questions are way too much for me to answer."

"Alex, I'm not playing jokes with you."

He licked his lips, flirtatious and sat up a little bit. "Alright, so I thought we could still be together if we're closer to each other. I didn't want to leave you and besides, I belong here and I'm a wolf."
