Chapter 3

Darcie angrily went to the kitchen,she met different maids and someone tapped her,it was Chloe

"What's wrong?? You don't look happy?? Chloe asked and Darcie sigh while she dropped the glass cup in the dish washer

"My first day at work and am already getting pissed off by that rude boy attitude" Darcie blurted out and Chloe quickly signal to her that there are CCtv cameras everywhere

"Even in the kitchen??" Darcie asked and Chloe took her outside

"Sure CCtv cameras are just everywhere exclude the rooms in the house" Chloe said 

"Like seriously that keith is just too rude,you won't believe that I had to make Orange juice for him like four times but all he could do is to complain" Darcie said

"Keith has always be like that and everyone is used to his attitude"

"Not me,I just hate his behaviour"

"Well....if you get to know his likes and his dislikes then you guys won't have a problem" Chloe said

"Why can't he just be like his mom,so kind and lovely??

Chloe sigh "actually I shouldn't be telling you this but keith lost his mom when he was just six"

Darcie eyes were bewildered "but I thought......

"Noo Mrs Smith is just his step mom,his dad marry her some years later when keith mother died and his father die the day Sofia was born"

Who is Sofia?? Darcie asked

"Mrs Smith daughter,you will get to see her during dinner,she's sweet and hilarious" Chloe replied "and I guess that must be some of the reason why keith is always like that though he's free with Mrs Smith and everyone always thinks Keith is her real son but I once caught him crying some days ago with his mother picture in his hand"

Darcie kept mute,she felt sorry for him 

"I have to go now,its already 4pm, I have some works to do" Chloe said and dashed away leaving Darcie outside

Darcie stood outside admiring the compound then a shadow cast on her,she slowly tilt her head up and it was keith

"Oh God,what again?? Darcie calm down,yea calm down" she said to herself

"I thought you were assign as my personal maid but you neglect your work to gossip outside" keith said with a low voice

Darcie bow her head "am sorry am really sorry"

Keith was surprised,"isn't this the same girl who was acting as if she's some kind of a super girl" he thought

"Did you like the exterior of this house? Keith asked nicely and Darcie nodded still not knowing why he ask nicely

"Now since you so much like it then I need you to run 18 laps round the field" keith said and Darcie gasped

.

"18 laps?? She asked

.

"Yea I will be in my room, and don't think I won't know if you didn't complete it" keith smirked and went inside

.

"That fucking spoilt brat" Darcie cursed him under her breath,she looked at the field,it was really wide" how did he expect me to run 18 laps on this wide field?? Darcie asked herself and decided to start running

(After An hour)

Darcie was sweating profusely,she has just covered 8 laps and her leg was really aching badly,she sigh and clenched her fist

"Darcie you can do it!! Fighting!!" She said and continue running

Some maids were looking at her and they felt sorry for her

"I think she's tired,let me get her some water"one of them said

"You don't dare,its actually the young master who ask her to run unless you are ready to face his wrath" someone warned her

Keith glance through his window and see her running

"Wow..she's really a good athlete...8 laps already in an hour"he said and lay down on the bed then slept off

Darcie was feeling dizzy,she don't think she can run anymore

"Fighting" she sort of whisper and was about falling when someone grabbed her by her waist,her eyes were blur so she couldn't see the person face

"Keith how could you be so wicked?? Clark said angrily

"C'mon Clark I was just having fun and besides I never said I want a maid" keith said and continue pressing his phone

Clark was keith best friend although they are all four in numbers,Keith,Clark,Finn and Jace but Clark was his best,he was his childhood friend and sometimes,he comes for a sleepover in his house,they both grew up together,Clark dad was a rich business man who is always busy and didn't really care much about him,Clark was believe to be a hot looking Vampire cos he's so handsome but not as keith,anytime both of them are walking together in school,some girls always lost it while some are always dying to have them

"Fun?? Did you just say fun? Let me ask you a question?? Can you even run just 2 laps, I bet you can't but you ask that poor innocent girl to......

"Enough Clark,did you come here for me or to defend a rascal and besides aren't you thirsty,my maid is gonna serve you with the best orange juice" keith said but Clark didn't respond

(At the Maid Quarter)

Chloe was helping Darcie massage her legs 

"That's really bad of him,how can he do that to you" Chloe said and then the landline phone in the room started ringing

"I'll get that" Chloe said and picked the call

"Yea room 3 on the line 6GPO"

"Darcie Kuers room 3 6GPO is needed at the young master room with two glass of orange juice"

Chloe hang up and looked at Darcie who was laying down helpless

"What is it?? Darcie asked

"The young master want you to bring two glass of orange juice" Chloe replied

"Was he the one who call you now?

"Noo,it was the messenger,he always pass message across the Quarters,that's his job"

Darcie stood up and almost fell but Chloe quickly get hold of her and she quickly remember when she was feeling dizzy and was about falling when someone held her

"Thanks Chloe, that remind me pls who brought me inside??"

"Uhm....the young master best friend was the one who helped you from falling but the head servant was the one who brought you in"

"The young master best friend?? Darcie asked

"Yea

"What is taking her so long? Keith blurted

"Don't tell me it was the same girl you ask to come here" Clark said but keith didn't answer

Darcie pressed the door bell and the door opened

"Here it is.."Darcie said and placed the orange juice on the table near his bed with two glass cups

Clark was busy with his phone and wasn't looking up

"Hey I hope you didn't poison that drink" keith said but Darcie didn't reply

"Pls can I go now" Darcie said but keith signal for her to stay

Darcie leg was aching badly,she knew it was keith best friend sitting on the sofa in the room,she have to find a way of thanking him but that will be later cos right now her leg is still aching

Clark finally looked up and his eyes met Darcie,he felt somehow upon seeing her,Darcie also looked at him but quickly looked away

"How's your leg?? Clark asked

"Why did you care? Keith asked

"Just shup up keith,I wasn't referring to you"

" So how's your leg?? Clark asked and Darcie only nodded without not saying anything

"See she's dumb,someone like her don't have any incredible thing to accomplish cos people like her are just so weak"

Darcie shut her eyes,her step father had said that to her once

FLASHBACK

"Suzanne Suzanne what happened to the cloth I ask you to wash" Mr Will shouted at Suzanne who was writing some Lyrics for her sister

"Am sorry I...... Mr will Slapped her and looked at Sonia who was glaring at her,he picked up the paper on the floor and read through it......

........"Anything Bad you're feeling right now,no matter how you feel it,is temporary,you have incredible things ahead of you to accomplish"

Mr Will torn the paper into shreads ,he looked at Sonia and held her by her ears

"It hurt" Sonia screamed in pain

"Hey little girl get this to your brain,someone like you don't have incredible things to accomplish cos you're born to suffer"her step father said

Tears began to flow down Darcie cheeks and keith was surprised to see her crying

Clark stood up and went to her "are you all right?? He asked and Darcie came back to her senses,she quickly wipe her tears with the back of her hands

"Am sorry pls I have to go now"she said and went outside

"Did I say something bad?? Keith asked and Clark shake his head and went out

No maids has ever cry in front of her before

"Like I care" he said and continue with his phone,he pour himself some orange juice and start drinking then someone enter his room,it was Sofia her step sister

"Hey baby girl you're back" keith said to Sofia who was just 15

"Keith why don't you tell me Clark was around and who was that girl he was chasing" Sofia pouted

Everyone in the house loves Sofia because of her behaviour,she's sweet and really fun to play with and she had a huge crush on Clark but everyone thought its just a baby crush and also Clark see her as his sister

"Clark was chasing after that maid, he's really annoying". Keith said and sip his drink

"A maid?? Has mom gotten you a new maid?

"Yep and she will go very soon"

"Keith why are you so mean?? Is it true that you ask a maid to run 18 laps" 

"Who told you??

"Just tell me is it true"

"Sofia, go to your room now, am sorry am not in the mood to talk now"

"I understand you more than anyone in this one, I know that the main reason why you don't want a maid is because it was a maid who poison your mom and that makes you hate anything that has to do with maids but......"

Keith stood up angrily and slapped Sofia

"Don't you dare say that again?? Keith barked at her

Sofia held her cheeks and was almost crying

Keith sigh and looked at Sofia

"Sofia am sorry for slapping you,I....." Keith pleaded but Sofia ran out of his room in annoyance

Keith sat on the bed and used his palm to cover his face,he checked under his bed and brought out a box,he opened it and the first thing was his mom picture,he picked it and kissed it softly

"Hey miss" Clark called Darcie and she stopped

Clark went to her "ohh am sorry for keith behaviour,he's just been childish"

"Its nothing and thank you for saving me from falling on the field" Darcie said while she bow her head

What's your name?? Clark asked

"Darcie"

"Urr,,nice name you've got,my name is Clark"

"A nice name you've got too" Darcie said and Clark Smile

They both continue looking at themselves but Darcie excuse herself and dash away

On the other hand someone was taking some pictures of Darcie
