Offending Josephine was a small matter in contrast to offending this divine being. The latter was truly a crime that would easily end with her annihilation.

“Sir Ares!” Rose yelped nervously with her head held down.

She mulled over how he would punish ‘disloyal’ women. Would he drown her? Feed her to the sharks, or maybe snipe her?
