Chapter 77 Unspoken Longing.

Three days had passed since that pivotal moment on the rooftop. Roxanne had retreated to the solace of her home, hoping to find clarity amidst the chaos of her swirling emotions. She sat in her living room, surrounded by paperwork and her laptop, attempting to focus on her work. But her mind would constantly wander back to Lance's confession. The weight of his words continued to linger, tugging at her heartstrings.

Did Lance really mean those words he had spoken? Could she believe his every word despite knowing that he had a fiancee he was meant to marry in less than two months?
