Henry continued to stare at his phone screen, his eyes wide and his expression a shocked one, however, he did not deny what his son had said, nor did he make any comments.

"Oh, don't act like you've suddenly gone deaf, father," Lance's words snapped him back into the conversation. "You've always known. All these years, you've known that mother died earlier than she's supposed to, didn't you?"

Henry locked the screen of his phone and faced his Son. "Lance, Listen..." He began, however cut off by Lance seconds later.

"You knew yet you did nothing like investigating it. Instead you allowed the very same woman responsible for your wife's death to slither her way into what was once our home!" Lance snapped and his hands gripped into tight fists. "You allowed her to ruin the little sanity that mother had left behind, all because you wanted to save face after having a child out of wedlock. A child who now happens to be the very same man who's making sure that all the money and reputation you
