Chapter 65 It Was Just Like Dream.

Lance stared at the name across his phone screen, watching as the call continued to ring on. When the call ended, the notification on the screen showed none missed calls, four from Penelope and an extra five from his father.

What did he want? Lance pondered as gulped down the last of his whiskey while seated at the mini bar installed in his penthouse.

The first thing the male had done when Roxanne stepped out of his apartment was to drown himself in whiskey. For some reason, he felt like that was the only and actually thing that could make him forget the sudden emptiness he felt inside him.

With her not being around, the entire penthouse suddenly felt bigger than it actually was and every second and minute that went by, the scene of her perfume and body wash continued to intensify in the air, even though she was no longer anywhere in his sight.

When he remembered this thought, Lance sighed and ran his fingers through his hair.
