Chapter five; The unexpected call

Leo Wells (POV)

After dinner, I sat in the hall room to entertain myself with some movie

The house felt quite and it made me very uncomfortable

I never wanted to come and stay here in the first place, but my mom insisted

She said Fiori was still a kid and that it wouldn’t be appropriate for her to live alone

But is she really a kid?…

I didn’t know where exactly she was going for the party, but I just wished it wasn’t the place called the lovers bridge

The last time I was here to visit this family, I went to a party at that same place

I slid my finger across the screen to answer and the call got connected

“Hello?….” I stayed on the phone for about two minutes repeating this word without hearing any response from the other side

I began to get worried and think maybe she had gotten into some trouble

But finally after some seconds, she spoke up

“Leo…can you…come to the lovers bridge right now?” Her voice trembled slightly

And it looked like she was terrified or something like that

“Where are you?” I asked calmly

“Well….I don’t know if you have any idea, but….I’m actually at the dark corner room” she finally spilled out the word I didn’t want to hear

Being in the dark corner room was just too dangerous for her

She could even get raped if she refuse to give in to any man there

Maybe I should have stopped her from attending that party in the first place

“Leo? Are you there?” Fiori’s trembling voice sounded again

“Yeah. I’m on my way”

“Oh…thanks” the call got disconnected after those words

Without wasting another second, I quickly went into my room and grabbed some simple short with a T shirt and strode out

After nine good years, I was stepping foot into that club again

But this time round, to complete an important mission

And not to enjoy a sex party
