Amanda's POV

I punch him one more time before he begins to spill everything. "All I know is that our records will be clean if we find it. We don't know why but we don't care, we just want to be cleared. That's it, that's all I know." he cries.

"Why do you want Charles?" I walk towards him.

"He has information on Mandy so we needed him." He replies quickly.

"You and I both know your records will never be clean, so why don't we quit lying and tell me the truth." I lean in until I'm inches away from his beaten up face.

"The money, don’t you know how much it's worth to get Mandy? It's worth a fortune!" he smiles. I know where this is going, "You can have some if you want, we can be partners," he begins, "We can split it with you."

"Yeah, I don't care about the money, so go ahead and try," I roll my eyes, "But you won't ever get near Mandy," I say slowly.

"If you kill me, everyone will go searching for you. I bet they are tracking you right now. That phone call you made... Not the best idea," he says confidently.

"You think I'm new to this? I'm not stupid, of course, they're going to try to find me. I know what I'm doing," I laugh. "And if your friends come after me, they will die too."

"Chloe... I can call my men to pick us up and they will take care of this fool who tried to kidnap me." Charles says, taking out his phone.

"No ones making any calls. You are staying here if you step outside these men will try to kidnap you again." I try to reason.

"But you made a call..."

"Yeah. Like I said earlier, I know what I'm doing." I roll my eyes.

"Whatever, I'm leaving. If you want to come or not is up to you." He waves me off and begins to walk out.

"That's a shame," I say softly, "I'll miss you." I pull out my gun and shoot his left leg so he collapses.

"W-What are you doing!?" Chad tries to squirm out of the chair. "We need him."

"Oh please. If he tells you everything he knows about Mandy, then you will have to die too. No one can know." I shoot Charles’ right leg.

"Don't do this," he begs, dragging himself with his hands, unable to use his legs at all. "Chloe, don't do this." he tries to soften me with his big puppy eyes.

"If I don't kill you, you will have to forget everything," I answer. What sucks is that I actually liked messing with Charles, he was an easy target.

"I will. I won't tell anyone about this." He promises. Lies. My head jerks up and I walk over to him, kneeling down so we are face to face.

"You're right. You won't ever tell anyone." I say before I slam his head to the wall, knocking him out.

"Y-You killed him!" Chad stuttered as he stared at the body. I get up and turn to him.

"If he's lucky he won't die." I walk to the bag of things I found in the car. "But he won't remember anything." I take out a knife that was under the driver's seat.

"No, no, no..." Chad rapidly shakes his head as soon as he sees the knife, "Please Don't. I'm too young to die."

"Well, you should have thought of that before you started this search for Mandy."

"I can't die... Not yet." he cries.

I chuckle, "Relax, I'm not gonna kill you." He relaxes a little but still watches me. I would have killed him a long time ago, but I need him to lure the others in my trap. Then I can kill them altogether. Like I said before, I know what I'm doing.

I turn around again and walk up to the boy "Good night." he gives me a confused look before I stab the needle in his neck.

---

I walk into a nice little coffee shop and order myself a drink. I know I shouldn't be doing this but I really need a breather. I take a seat near a window and wait for my drink, thankful that I'm out of that tight black dress.

After dealing with Chad, I went back to my hotel room and changed out of the dress and I am now wearing some jeans, black sneakers, and a plain black top. My wavy hair was hanging loosely above my shoulders and I wore prescription glasses over my now brown eyes. I love playing dress up, of course I would much rather be in a warm bed while rewatching some old cartoons.

It's 8:00 pm and those boys must have given up already. There is no way they can find Chad, no way. Of course, the police must have found Charles already but there hasn't been any news of his finding. I should have killed him instead. Guys like Charles don't care about anyone else except money, his wife noticed too late, but at least she divorced the jerk.

"Daisy?"

If he remembers anything, then he will have to die for sure. No one can know about Mandy. No one.

"Daisy?" I hear the girl behind the counter yell for the third time. I ignore it at first but then remember, I'm Daisy. Dang, I really should pay more attention. I was so wrapped up in my thoughts that when I stood up to get my drink, I bumped into a guy.

Great. Good one Amanda.
