I Hate You

My eyes squinted at Florian, and I gave a small smile. "Were you always this way?"

He shrugged. "I guess."

He slowly stood up, letting the sheets fall off his skin, the sun radiating off his beautiful tan, bringing the shine to his body. I stared like it was the first time I was seeing it, and I held my breath as he turned to grab his pants. I watched him slip in, my lips parted, my chest heaving hard.

He was beautiful, the kind that I gave up in dreaming about a while ago.

"I don't think I want to know what's going on in your head right now."

I burst into a laugh, then shook my head. "I just... I think you look good right now."

He parted his lips to reply, but his phone suddenly started to ring. He turned to it, his brows furrowed, his hair falling over his chin. He rolled his eyes and turned to me.

"I hate mornings."

"Me too," I said with a laugh, then started to reach for my dress.

"Stay right there," he said as he let the call just ring, and he checked his messages.
