Tristan's POV

"That was the first time he'd raped me" she said her voice croaking from all the crying she'd been doing, I pull her closer to me as I rest my chin on her head.

She had been telling me of her life in the foster system, everything her foster father did to her, how many homes she'd lived in before she finally got out.

She'd really gone through a lot, from the physical abuse to the mental and even sexual, she had practically no one to look out to, it was just her and her alone.

Until she met Maya, she'd explained how she got a job at the strip club the night she left her foster father's house into the streets, she'd been given a store room at the strip club to stay until she could get a place of her own.

She said she owed her life to the owners of the club, although the work wasn't really good for someone her age but due to her body size, the considered and hired her.

She said she only ever gave strip dances and the owner never allowed any of the men put they hands on her,
