“Hannah,” A soft gentle voice woke her up.She opened her eyes and sat up slowly to see Evelyn. “Good morning, dear.” She opened the window and since all of her windows are tinted, she’s safe from people who usually stalk her through Ian’s commands. They had prioritized her window and Ella’s windows. “Reid has to take care of a lot of things. I’ll be taking you for a check-up.” “I~~I have a check-up?” She asked. “Yes,” Evelyn said as she prepared the dress and purse for her to wear. “Don’t worry, dear. We won’t just visit your doctor, we will also buy a lot of girly stuff. I also had in mind to have a bag on a waiting list.” “Waiting list?” She asked. “I think it’s the most expensive one?” “Yes, it’s a great investment, dear. You should have one for yourself… or two.” She smiled as Hannah seemed to be still heavy at moving. She still looks somewhat gloomy. She ate breakfast with Evelyn but she only ate a little. “I make smoothies.” “Thank you.” Hannah took it and sipped only a l
Hannah and Evelyn ended their day in Reid’s penthouse. Evelyn showed her to the guest room she allocated to her family when they visited. She couldn’t say much and Evelyn suggested having the relatives she stayed with for 3 years in their house to invite them in the penthouse or the mansion. “I will try to speak with them.” She mumbled. “They probably heard about what happened to her.” She didn't want anyone to know but it seemed her family needed to know. “Your sisters, I heard that they will be in college soon, are they going to study here in the mainland?” She asked. “I haven’t talked to them about it.” “I can recommend a few schools,” Evelyn said. “I think that’s unnecessary…and too much, Mrs. King.” Evelyn sighed as she reached her hand and she stared at the bandage on the right middle finger. “My dear, your family is our family.” “My parents can do it.” “Scholarship,” Evelyn said. “I can give them a scholarship if they could~~” “Mrs. King, I will help my parents with t
Valerie finally visited her fiancee in the prison. This is not what she ever had thought of. He looked sleepless, he looked thin and it seemed that he hadn't eaten for a while. She brought foods that he would like and he ate fast, like he had never eaten for years. He wiped his mouth with the tissue and looked up at her. “What’s going on with Reid and Hannah now?”“Well, I saw that Reid was still the same to her. And Mrs. Evelyn King just bought a bag for me. But not just that bag… a big brand of bag that took five years to make or receive.” “Hmm?” Ian tilted his head. “What else?” Valerie sighed. “Can you stop this obsession? We need to focus on your case and to have you out.” “That’s impossible.” Ian chuckled. “I will make sure that she’ll be so embarrassed and even the King empire will be embarrassed to proceed with the case.” Valerie shook her. “You are more in danger outside the cell, Ian. You don’t know much about the King’s.” “Well, they don’t know me either.” Ian lau
Reid doesn't like perfumes. But he must ensure she sprayed it on herself whenever they go out. He was cautious. He even looked around to see if people were spying on them or stalking them. Some men gawked at her. She didn’t realize it since she doesn't usually look at them. She pushed the other cart full of their groceries and she helped him with loading it into the trunk. He noticed a few gawking at her so he patted her back and led her to the shotgun seat. “Wait for me here and lock the doors. I will continue loading our groceries then.” “Okay,” she waited patiently, and as soon as Reid closed the back, he quickly locked it with the remote. “Don’t come out.” He pushed the cart and approached a boy. “Hey, can you also put it back there safely?” He asked. “Uhh,” The boy was puzzled. “I’ll give you twenty bucks.” The boy shrugged as Reid arranged it as a train connecting the tree trolley. Then, he pulled out his wallet and didn’t see any twenty bucks but a hundred. He pulled it
Reid helped with putting the frozen goods in the freezer while Hannah and Rosanna were preparing for dinner, heanxiously went outside to find a car down the driveway. He hoped that it was Gibson. He parked the car by the garage as he came out with beers. “Did you get something?” Reid asked. “Of course,” He grinned. “You have to pay me for the beers that I bought from those biker guys.” “Sure,” He said as they headed inside and put the beers on the cooler by the living room. “You are right, those guys are gangs and they target nice cars. But since you reported them, the police seemed to be working hard. There have been a lot of reports about carnapping.” Gibson said. “But they can conceal it like they were a gang. It is still possible that someone like Raynold’s men are lurking in the area.” “We still need to be careful. I am sure that it wasn’t a coincidence. But those biker guys surely could be our eyes. They were protecting the people of the town.” He crossed his arms. “Mayb
Hannah woke up, finding Reid by the side of the bed kneeling or squatting with his arms overlapped to cross and his chin over his forearm. She turned to him as he grinned. “What are you doing?” Hannah asked. “Watching beautiful scenery.” He crawled over the bed and showered her with kisses. She giggled—the giggle of happiness.“I have to make breakfast.” She mumbled.“Nonsense.” Reid told her to wait as she stayed. She then looked at the dummy that she bought for him. He didn’t use it last night. Instead, he reached for her uninjured hand and they kissed passionately and touched each other. She slipped out of bed and headed to the bathroom. She froze when she noticed a red spot on her white pajama dress. She quickly washed up as she headed to the bed sheets and saw a spot. Was it her period? She quickly pulled the sheets and stopped when it was hard to pull so she tried to lift it and removed it from the clips. She needs to hurry or else, this is embarrassing. “Babe!” The door
After five days in the villa, Hannah got used to Reid taking care of most things. Since the couple, Gibson and Rosanna went camping for three days somewhere, Reid mostly cooked although she could cook. He’s not a bad cook, and it’s like he taught himself how to cook. If Reid only knew that it was so sexy of him. His muscles would flex when he lifted the sheets to hang them after running them on the dryer. “Hey, love. Are you hungry?” He asked. She slowly bit her lip as he grinned and approached her. He kissed her lips and hugged her waist although he was a little wet and sweaty. “I already prepared snacks. I put the frozen pizza in the oven and added more cheese to it since you like it cheesy…” “I love it more when my face is between your legs.” He teased as she laughed and smacked his arm. He lifted her and took her to the kitchen. Just in time when the oven chimed. Hannah prepared the soda perfectly with it. Reid casually picked her up after she prepared the fruit sodas and put
The food that was sent to their cell doesn’t look good. It wasn’t what he usually eats but his men were making sure that he ate good food. Then, there’s this little guy who was cooking for them. His men would bully him and he looked a little beaten as he did what they said. That guy was his cellmate. He’s the only one who isn’t in his pack, but his skinny and small look is no comparison to their bulky features. They ate the food that the boy made, which remember the name was either Archie or Ace? He doesn't remember, but Ian knew well that that boy couldn’t be part of the pack of the King Empire. After the meal, they exercise lightly to keep their build. He washed up and although the bathroom and sink weren’t very sanitary he still tried to get used to it. Since he’s protected by three men from his pack, he manages to sleep peacefully. They watched as the boy climbed up to his bunk and lay down to sleep as others peacefully went to their bed. He lay flat down as he slowly closed his
