Nathan stayed outside the private office building of Kazuya, as the late afternoon sun created elongated shadows on the ground. Feeling a combination of nerves and determination, his heart raced while he straightened his jacket, powering his determination.

Kazuya sat at a large mahogany desk in the dimly lit office, rhythmically tapping his fingers on its glossy surface. Beside him, Anderson paced back and forth, his expression twisted with frustration.

"Kazuya," Anderson growled, "you promised me this election. You said your Yakuza connections would make sure I win. If I lose, it’s not just my career on the line. Your entire operation is at risk."

Kazuya leaned back in his chair, his expression one of cool detachment. "Relax yourself, Anderson. We have everything under control. We have an insider. He will come through for us.”

Anderson stopped pacing, glaring at Kazuya. "An insider? Who?"

Kazuya’s lips curled into a knowing smile. "Trust me, Anderson. All will be revealed in due time

A few hours before the explosion; The black truck rumbled quietly a few blocks away from the polling station. Inside, the Clayton men were tense, their faces illuminated by the dim overhead light. Serge stood at the front, a map of the polling station spread out before him."Alright, listen up," Serge said, his voice low but commanding. "We go in, plant the explosives, and get out quick. No mistakes."One of the men, Danny, raised his hand hesitantly. "Serge, what exactly are we carrying in these bags? They feel pretty heavy."Serge’s eyes narrowed. "You questioning Ryder and Hunter’s orders, Danny?"Danny swallowed hard. "No, I just—""Good," Serge cut him off. "Because if you do, you’ll face their wrath. You don’t want that, trust me."The truck fell silent, the tension palpable. Serge took a deep breath and checked his watch. "It’s time. Move out."At the polling station, Anderson stepped out of his car, a confident smirk on his face. Vittorio was already there, surrounded by suppo

Ryder and Hunter Morgan, the notorious twins, stood at the far end, their expressions dark.Ryder's voice cut through the silence. "Serge, what happened out there?"Serge sighed, running a hand through his hair. "Dominic escaped. But we took out two of their capos. And Anderson... he's dead."Hunter's face twisted with fury. "You failed, Serge! Dominic was the target. The rest were just collateral."Serge met Hunter's glare with a steady gaze. "We hit them hard. They're reeling. That's a win."Hunter stepped forward, his fists clenched. "A win? We needed Dominic dead! Now he's out there, plotting revenge."Ryder placed a calming hand on Hunter's shoulder. "Calm down, Hunter. Let’s think about this."Hunter shrugged off Ryder’s hand, his eyes never leaving Serge. "I want answers, Ryder. The angered capos surrounded the long table in a circle after two of their fellow members were violently killed.Dominic remained composed at the head of the table, holding onto a peaceful attitude even as chaos unfolded around him. Observing the room, he observed tightly clenched fists, narrowed eyes, and raised voices. The emergence of sorrow and rage was evident and needed to be addressed to avoid worsening.Rick, recognized for his explosive demeanor, furiously slammed his fist on the table. “We cannot just sit here! We need to avenge our falling capos.!Antonio, a more level-headed capo, shook his head. "And risk more lives? We need to plan this carefully. Charging in blindly will only get us killed.""Carefully?" The dim light of the Morgan mansion flickered as Ryder and Hunter studied a map of Philadelphia spread out on an old, marble-crusted table. The brothers, notorious for their ruthless ambition, had spent months tightening their grip on the city's underworld. Now, with the Mayor, Anderson is dead. They now have the interim mayor, Bryan Benson, eating out of their hands. The time had come to eliminate the last obstacle in their path: the Rinaldi family.Ryder, the ruthless one of the two twins, traced his finger over the map. "We've got them cornered, Hunter. The Rinaldi family is isolated. It's time to finish this."Hunter, leaning against the table, nodded. "Yeah, with the loss of their two most prominent Capos. This is the perfect time. But, Dominic's no fool. We need to catch him off guard, make sure he's alone."Ryder's eyes gleamed with malevolent intent. "That's where Sierra comes in. Yet, she kept watch over the room, looking for any trace of Sergio, the hired killer of the Morgans.Dominic Rinaldi, looking impressive in his custom-made suit, stood next to the bar, holding a glass of bourbon. The silence was deceptive, a fragile veneer stretched over the simmering tension that had gripped the Rinaldi estate since Charlotte's expulsion. Dominic had left that morning, a grim set to his jaw, to handle pressing matters concerning the family's business – a power play in Sicily that couldn't be ignored. He'd entrusted Luca with the estate's security, a decision Sierra hoped wouldn't be his undoing. She stood by the window in the library, a book open in her hands, but her eyes weren't focused on the page. She felt it in her bones – something was coming. The air was thick with foreboding, a silent scream building in her chest.Sarai bustled in, her usual cheerful demeanor replaced with a nervous energy. "Sierra, darling, have you seen Luca? I can't find him anywhere, and the guards seem… distracted."Before Sierra could answer, a bloodcurdling scream pierced the air, followed by the unmistakable sound of gunfire."What was that?" She knew she had to tell him the truth about Charlotte, but the timing always seemed wrong. Every time she tried, something would happen – a crisis, an interruption, or Charlotte's expertly timed displays of vulnerability.Enzo materialized beside her, his expression grim. "Don Dominic," he murmured, his voice low, "I need to speak with you. It's urgent."Dominic looked up, his brow furrowed. "What is it, Enzo? Can't it wait? Her puppeteers. She hesitated, her fingers hovering over the answer button. The weight of their demands, the betrayal they expected of her, pressed down on her like a physical burden. She glanced around her bedroom, a space that had once felt like a sanctuary, now felt like a gilded cage.Taking a deep breath, she answered the call, her voice carefully neutral. "Hello?""Sierra," Hunter's voice crackled through the speaker, sharp and impatient. "It's time.""Time for what?" Sierra asked, stalling for time, her heart pounding in her chest."Don't play coy with us," Ryder's voice cut in, equally harsh. "You know exactly what we're talking about. The clatter of silverware against porcelain echoed through the Rinaldi dining room, a sound that had once been comforting, but now grated on Sierra's nerves. It was another forced family dinner, another performance of civility masking the simmering resentment beneath the surface. Charlotte, seated beside Dominic, was the conductor of this discordant orchestra."This risotto is… interesting," Charlotte said, her voice dripping with faux politeness as she swirled the creamy rice on her plate. "Is this your recipe, Sierra? It's certainly… unique."Sierra clenched her jaw, refusing to rise to the bait. "It's a family recipe," she replied, her voice even. "It's been passed down for generations.""Oh, I see," Charlotte said, a sly smile playing on her lips. "So, it's not really *your* recipe.
