"Hello, Indianna." Greyson sat down next to Indianna and linked his fingers together on the desk. He turned his head to look at her and she bit her lip nervously, feeling uneasy under his gaze. "This is the part where you say hi, otherwise it would be considered rude."
"Oh, sorry," she whispered and coughed. "Hi."
There was a twinkle of amusement in Greyson's eyes and he chuckled ever so slightly. "I don't think I introduced myself last lesson. I'm Greyson Evans. " He had an aura of confidence and it intimidated Indianna.
"Yeah, Brooke told me," Indianna said. She avoided Greyson's eyes.
"Ah Brooklyn," he said. "She's a character. Brandon however, he's a miserable dick."
"He seems nice."
"Yeah, he's a big cuddly teddy bear," Greyson said dryly and rolled his eyes. "Not everyone in this town is who they say they are."
"What's that supposed to mean?"
"Just be careful who you make friends with."
"But Brandon and Brooke-"
"They are good people, but I just don't get along with Brandon. I'm not talking about them."
"I've not met anyone else."
Unless she counted the voice in her head.
"I'm not surprised."
"What?"
"I mean, you are just so approachable," he said sarcastically and smirked at her. "Relax, Indie-"
"Indie?"
"Yes, Indie. I get it though, you're shy. I plan to change that though. It's not everyday I get to help out a social outcast?"
"What? I'm not a social-"
"I'm teasing," he said and chuckled. "Besides, do you know how many girls would kill to be in your position?"
"No?"
"Indie, all the girls want me," he whispered and leaned back in his seat, crossing his arms over his chest. "With a click of my fingers, I could have anything I wanted."
"Oh," she said and nodded, looking down at her hands. She wasn't good with conversations, she wasn't good at being social in general, especially when someone was very confident.
"So, why did you move?" Greyson questioned.
Indianna shrugged her shoulders. "My mum wanted a change of scenery," she said quietly.
"Do you live with your father?"
"No," she whispered. "He's... Away."
"Right." Greyson nodded slowly and pursed his lips. "Away," he murmured.
"Why are you talking to me?" Indianna rose an eyebrow at Greyson who shrugged.
"Because I want to, and I always get what I want."
"Oh. Right."
"Indie, what's this?" Greyson reached out and gently touched Indianna's wrist.
She gasped suddenly and tried to pull away, but his grasp was firm. "Greyson. Let go of m-me."
"What is it?"
"Please, I feel comfortable," Indianna said.
"Answer my question, Indie." Greyson's fear was firm and Indianna swallowed nervously.
"You can see what it is," she whispered.
"How did you get it?"
"How else do you get a scar of a bite mark on your wrist?" She asked with a bitter edge to her voice. "You get bitten."
It was finally lunch and Indianna couldn't be happier. She just wanted to find a quiet corner of the library and be by herself. During her third lesson she had Ace, Greyson's friend, trying to talk to her and then Brandon in the fourth. She hated it. She wasn't good with people. She was better alone. The voice hadn't spoken to her again and Indianna smiled as she opened her locker; maybe she was just nervous and was imagining it? She could hope. She placed her books into her locker and when she shut it, Brooke appeared out of nowhere. "Indianna!" She grinned, making Indianna jump from fright."You scared me," Indianna mumbled and Brooke smiled apologetically."Sorry," she laughed. "So I thought, considering you don't know anyone, did you want to sit with me and my friends at lunch?""Oh..." Indianna bit her lip. "Um, thanks, but I was going to go and do some homework.""You don't want to meet everyone?""I'm fine," Indianna shrugged and Brooke looked at someone behind Indianna."I tol
"How was school?" Indianna's mum asked when she walked into her house later that day."It was school," Indianna shrugged and walked up the stairs to her room. She walked in and sat on her bed, opening her laptop. Her room was pretty bare. There were boxes stacked up and pushed against the wall, the walls were a boring beige colour and the only furniture she had was her bed, wardrobe and a chest of draws. She still had to unpack a lot.She stayed on her laptop for a few hours, scrolling through Tumblr and stalking Dylan O'Brien and Andy Biersack on Twitter. It was how she spent most evenings. She only got up to pee and eat."Indianna, dinner's ready!" Indianna pried her eyes away from her laptop screen that was making her eyes water when she blinked, and looked at the door."I'll be down in a minute!" She called and shut her laptop. With a loud yawn, she climbed off her bed and walked over to the door, but as soon as her hand touched the doorknob, her stomach churned and her hand flew
The sun was shining brightly and it was making Indianna feel worse as she walked into school that day.*You shouldn't have come in.**If you aren't going to answer my questions, then don't talk to me.* Indianna sighed and walked up the steps to the school, she could feel gazes on her ass and she doubted her choice of clothes."Hey beautiful." Indianna stopped in her tracks when a guy walked in front of her in the hallway. "You new around here? I would remember somebody like you..." The guys eyes landed on her boobs and she shifted uncomfortably."Yeah, um excuse me," she muttered and tried to walk past him, but he followed her movements."Where are you in a rush too?" The guy smirked, placing a hand on her arm, making her want to puke again. "I can show you around, sweet cheeks.""N-no, I'm fine thanks," she mumbled and stepped back, but the guy pulled her forward."You should be more grateful!" The guy snapped, yanking Indianna into his chest. "A pretty little thing like you shouldn'
Indianna couldn't speak, she just sat, frozen in shock. She assumed it might have been Greyson, but she never thought that it actually would've been.*Sugar? Talk to me?**I-I... Erm...**You're shocked.**No shit.**Don't swear, sugar.**Tell me how this is possible.**I can't answer that yet.**You said you'd give me answers!**I told you who I am.**I wish you hadn't now.**Now, that's not very nice, sugar.* Indianna could practically hear the smirk that was most definitely on his lips.*What were you talking about, with my mum?**I can't answer that yet either.**You're not right in the head, Greyson.**How comes?**What you were saying to my mum, that wasn't right.**Care to elaborate?**You said that I 'belong to you' and something about crossing the border into your land. And what the hell is a 'pack'?**You're just full of questions, sugar.**And you find that surprising?**No, quite annoying actually. Do you have to be so curious?**This is your fault! You can't just randomly
"Hey." Ace slid into the seat next to Indianna and she briefly looked up at him before looking back down at her notebook. "Don't do the silent thing me with," he said with a laugh. "I know you talk to Greyson, and I am a lot nicer than Greyson."But you can't talk to me in your head, she thought. She was a shy person, but she wasn't with Greyson and it was confusing her. Was it the whole mind speaking thing? Or did she just feel... Normal around him?"Indianna?"Indianna nervously bit the end of her pen and sighed, looking up at Ace. "...Hi."Ace smiled brightly at her. "Hey, so how you finding it here?"Indianna paused for a moment, pondering her answer. "Invasive," she finally replied.Ace laughed and grinned sheepishly at Indianna. "Sorry."She shrugged and looked back at her notebook."Greyson mentioned that you weren't feeling too well the other day, are you okay now?""Fine," she muttered, but it wasn't completely true. The sick feeling had come back slightly and was coming and
"How long are we going to be stuck here?" Indianna wondered, looking up at Greyson who shrugged."Your guess is as good as mine," he said and she ran her fingers through her hair."It's been two hours," she muttered and Greyson furrowed his eyebrows at her."Sugar, are you alright, you look like you're going to be-""Sick," Indianna gulped and jumped up from the floor. She ran into the girls bathroom that were luckily opposite them and rushed into a stall."Indianna, you alright?" Greyson called as she puked into the toilet."I'm fine," she grumbled. "Just leave me alone.""You're not fine," he said and opened the stall door. He held her hair back from her face and she puked again."Then why did you ask," she muttered. "Please, I don't want you to see me puking.""Just shut up and let me help you, Indianna," Greyson said and she puked one more time before sitting back on her heels. "Is that it?""I bloody hope so," she sighed and grabbed some tissue and wiped her mouth with it."Here.
"You're not wearing your glasses," Greyson commented when Indianna sat down in the car later than night."We're not at school," Indianna shrugged and crossed her arms over her chest. "Where are we going?""You're new to this town, you won't know where," he shrugged."My mother told me to stay away from you," Indianna said which earned a chuckle from Greyson."She's doing a great job at keeping you away from me, isn't she, sugar?" He smirked."How do you know her?""I'll tell you later.""You said you'd give me answers.""But I didn't say when," he shrugged. "By the end of the night some of your questions will be answered."There wasn't much conversation between the two of of them as they drove to wherever they were going, but it wasn't an awkward silence. It was peaceful and Indianna hated it.She didn't want to feel comfortable around Greyson, but she couldn't help it.The music was playing softly on the radio and Indianna reached forward to turn it up at the same time Greyson did. T
Greyson pulled up at his house and got out of the car, walking round to the passenger side and gently lifting Indianna up. She was fast asleep and had been the whole journey back."Greyson, what happened?" Ace walked out of the house with Kal beside him. "Is she alright?" He gasped, looking at Indianna."She's fine, she's in shock.""Why?""Rogue.""Rogues? Where abouts?" Kal wondered, cracking his knuckles."No, Rogue. The Rogue," Greyson snapped. "She recognised him.""Shit," Ace gasped."He killed her father.""What's he doing here?" Kal wondered."I'm guessing it's to finish the job," Ace said bitterly."No, Indie would be dead already if that was his intent. He may be here for her, but he doesn't want to kill her," Greyson muttered. "Ace, I need you to to take some guys out and search every inch of this town. If you get the chance, kill him. I don't want to take any chances.""Okay," Ace nodded."What are you going to do with Indianna?" Kal wondered."Right now, wait till she wak
